Not a good idea. I would say the majority of the content is finished. What we need to do right now is get everything coded properly.

More previews? Yes.

Going out? Undecided as of yet. On one hand we think it would be cool, on the other hand, we don't want to stop people who are switching to customs from being able to wrap things up the way they want. Regardless, I would like to stress that none of the Chubbs history will be thrown out.

Penalties for canons? Depends on what you're looking at as a "penalty." Regardless of whether or not someone keeps a canon or takes a custom, their stats will be reset. That has nothing to do with trying to penalize people.

Rewards for customs? Only in-so-much that they'll be able to create their own character. But no, we're not going to give people anything extra for being a custom.

Keeping Rad? Not quite. I'm won't be playing Raditzu directly, but he'll very much remain a part of the Chubbs universe in my roleplaying.

More XTREME? If I did that, people's heads would start exploding simply from seeing that there was a new post by me. You see, when the XTREME-ulor glandinoids in your brain become over-exposed XTREME-aciousness, they swell in an attempt to match that level XTREME. Case studies have shown that 10 out of 10 participants were rendered completely unconscious after a mere level 3 exposure to controlled XTREME. I wouldn't want to start killing all my favorite Chubbsians.

Keeping stuff? People will probably be able to keep something. That's still under discussion on the developement forum. My personal preference would be to allow each active member (meaning this would not apply to OOC accounts) to pick one technique their character has to either give to their custom or to keep.

Date? No. We do not know when the switch will take place.

Canon NPCs? If Vegeta/Dende/Kami/etc are not being played by members at the time of Turnover, they will be used as NPCs for Vegeta/Earth/Namek/where ever.

That's where the discussion gets a little hung up. I don't really have a good answer for to that question. No matter what we decide, its either unfair to the people who are newer or unfair to the people who have put in more time and effort.

Personally, I support giving the guys who've been here before the reset something. A little bonus to stats. Technique. Something. But, I suppose it doesn't really matter. I could just work my ass off and be better than the newbs that way.

There will be many balancing factors to the races. Most of those, however, I'm not going to get into here. I'm completely confident, however, that all of the races are properly balanced.

As for saiyans... sadly, we're not going to enforce any limits on how many people can be saiyans or tsufuru-jin or namekians or anything else. We'll probably end up with tons of saiyans and non-transformers and next to no namekians. Its a bit unfortunate, considering the amount of work that we've put into most of this, but that's just the way things go.

I'm curious, Spop, what spurred the question about balancing? Is there something you see as unbalanced about Tsufuru-jin? Was that based on the system now?

If I didn't think your input mattered, GJ, I wouldn't have made this forum. Part of people being able to take a technique they already have is that they would go into XP "debt" as it were. So some people would start with negative XP. Does that have any inpact on your opinion about people being able to take a tech at turnover?

Nothing like that. I just saw the cool stuff that the Tsufuru-jin got, and it made me wonder what type of stuff the other races would get.
