If anything did influence the races, it was unconsciously. I consider them all to be off the top of my head.
Fighting Style has not been incorporated thus far. I've played with the idea of introducing it once or twice, but I honestly don't think it would fit in well.

Aww... But I loved my little quasi techniques. I guess I'll just hafta go custom and bring the old guy in myself.

There's always the possiblity of it being added in later. What may seem complex now might end up being the simpliest thing ever once its actually implimented. If that's the case, we'll have lots of room to bring in more stuff.

Sounds good. I'm all questioned out for the moment. Something might come to me tomorrow though.

>>>SOMETHING NEW<<<
So, I was wondering this for awhile. It's been slipping my mind when I've been online, but now I finally remembered.
Are we going to be able to create our own powerups/techniques? Say, if I want a powerup that boosts my strength while decreasing my agility, or vice versa, would that be ok? Or my Internal Brewery technique. I'd love to bring that bad boy in.

Ow. So inflexible. Where's Max when I need him to rant?
More importantly, if I wanted to make Internal Brewery a best move, or whatever they're gonna be now, would that be alright?

Potentially.

Potentially sounds like when, as a kid, I'd ask to go to McDonald's and my dad would say maybe. And we'd never go. -_- I hate that.

To be honest, I don't remember what Internal Brewery did. We also won't really know what new guidelines we're setting for Best Moves until we get things rolling.

Internal Brewery: Each technique taught here can only be unlocked by the consumption of alcohol. Since not everyone has a ready stash of booze on hand, the Drunken Master has a special technique ready for those who?ve learned atleast three disciplines. Through the manipulation of ki, the user can turn the adrenaline in his/her body into pure alcohol. Using this ability takes no time, but after being used it takes a week for it to be fully charged again.
That's the bad boy. But I'll probably get rid of the week recharge if I do it.

Earning staff approval will still have a place on Chubbs in the form of Sensei. By training with a Sensei, a player can learn an ability at a significantly reduced cost, but they have to meet the approval of the Sensei (staff) before they get the discount.
Did this have anything to do with my suggestion I sent Reijin? If so, w00t. If not, I was too late.
Will there be any kind of class system? (idk if I should make new threads here, so sorry if this is unrelated)
I posted this in EXP thread. sorry =x

No, it didn't have anything to do with anyone's suggestion. It was one of the ideas we've had since before Dana trashed our development forum.
No, no class system

Context: Me wishing I could rant well.
Max: The hands-down expert at griping, complaining, and ranting. Also good at hiding it within "sophisticated" wordology.
Looks like I was in context.

btw, flaming/being a jackass in this forum will result in you losing access to it. so you'll either have to get your info about turnover second-hand or wait til it happens.
just a heads up.

That's where the discussion gets a little hung up. I don't really have a good answer for to that question. No matter what we decide, its either unfair to the people who are newer or unfair to the people who have put in more time and effort.
What do we get to keep after the Reset?
You just quoted your answer.

Sorry?
Btw, I wasn't saying that in a "I hate Max" way. I was just stating my personal opinion based upon my view of his actions. I actuall respect the guy for being straightforward and challenging the way things are, as I believe all great change is brought about by people like that. But, I still think he's a masterful complainer.
Lastly, he spelled "nunchucks" wrong.

the passive/passive aggressive methods just don't work. Sometimes you have to stand up and make your voice heard, even if you may stand to lose from it.
As for my question, Burter, that doesn't answer it. I meant something more along the lines of "What, if anything, have you thus far determined we will be able to keep at the bare minimum?", M'Kay?
Fight the fights that are worth fighting, dont fight the fights just to fight though.
