DA Twists

I went with Easter Eggs for the main reason that when DA rolls around I will likely still be an unknown with no abilities and low stats. . .very easy for a short tempered tough guy to betray. . .the last DA I was in, I managed to talk my way into some powerful allies, but that would be tough to do again. . .Easter Eggs, however, sound like a great way to stage intense, massive fights which are usually great reads.

No. I can't do both. Then I have no twists lined up for next year. If I add in both of those twists, then I'm going too far away from the source material of traditional style. It's overkill. We still need an element of simple old DA.

Same deal with any reality show. If you add in too many twists, it takes away from the original format.

Should we just do a vote than of chain links vs easter eggs and take the traditional factor out and whichever wins will be for this DA, with the loser being next years DA.

It will be a danger zone that will temporarily be turned off for the easter egg.




Also, as a side note, one of the changes I'm making is I won't be making a master list of all 44 weapons, so you won't know exactly what is it in play this year

Is there a chance we could vote and see what people would think? I understand you ultimately decide but personally I'd prefer if only weapons between Crap-Moderate were giving out at start with Excellent being gained through Easter Eggs or killing of those who gained one earlier through Easter Egg.

Granted it slightly takes out the luck factor which is why I'm asking if you'd be willing to poll it.
