I've read [11] Joining but still have a few questions, hopefully you don't mind. =P

1) It says the abilities can only be wished for with the Dragon Balls, is it still possible to earn new ones thru exceptional writing in Sagas or are different things rewarded now?

2) Professions, I had planned on not having one to start with and pick one up later through RPs, I know we go back down to Rank 1 every time we change but other than that, is there no penalty to switch jobs assuming we stay Rank 1 and go to another Rank 1 job?

3) No where on the join form says starting zeni, items, or starting stats. Is that something we add after we're accepted?

4) I notice on rosters the fighting style isn't listed but it's requested in the join form, any reason why? And is it possible to change it down the road?

5) I take it returning Chubbsians aren't allowed to convert their old characters XP into these new customs since the overhaul?

6) Character Appearance, is this acceptable? There's a lot of characters and not sure if someone is using this appearance.

Short Bio: I'd rather if people read my soon to be written RPs for my characters history but if it's needed...
General gist as I'm not 100% certain even for myself haha... Android who is unfamiliar with his own robotic contents as he lives the normal everyday life of a raging hormone teen just trying to fit in with everyday society.

General Description: Young teenager roughly equalivalent to the average 17 year old humanoid in terms of physical build. Geir supports the skin tone of a humanoid caucasian with brown hair and blue eyes. He wears light blue khaki pants that he rolls up to just below his knee joints with a stylish fanny pack that hangs from his backside. On his upper torso, Geir wears a jacket that is white throughout except for the two sleeves which are red from the collarbone area to the wrists.

It was a dazzling sun-drenched day as the busy intersection of Broad Street and Market Street provided the much dreadful car sounds and screams as pedestrians and motorists alike fought amongst one another to get to their next destination. Fortunately, a select few knew of a certain spot not too far off of this intersection that provided the much needed relaxation and noise cancellation affect that many sought on this Monday morning.

“Orders up!” shouted a young boy as he extended the palm of his hand across the counter to ring a small portioned counter bell set to notify Waitress’s of their most recent meal completions. The Teen turned his attention to a strip of metallic clips that hung above his head, “Finally a break,” said the smiling Boy as he removed the last order of pancakes and crumbled the paper before discarding it.

Without another word, Geir strolled through his fortress of pots, pans, and stoves as he made his way to the backdoor where he shoved it open as if he had just exited prison after years of isolation. It was here, that the young man spent most of his breaks, in the desolated alleyway, with small pests scampering in and out of trash bags. This break room of gum covered cement, sewage water run off, and sleeping panhandlers, it was Geir’s paradise.

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t last much longer, as a small petite woman stuck her head out of the doorway and called for Geir, “More customers.”

With a saddening sigh, the boy stood up dusting off his backside from the filthy ground and proceeded inwards back to his caged area of heat and steam. “I can’t believe people do this for a living. I’ve been here for two weeks and already want to burn the place down.”

1) Nope. Dragonballs only, currently.

2) You can be unemployed, just post in the Updates forum when you need a profession. No matter the profession or rank, when you change it resets your rank to 1.

3) Starting Stats is covered in the Stats Rule thread. (See below) You get 100% to distribute to Strength, Endurance, Focus, and Agility. No starting items, off the top of my head I can't remember starting Zeni. I'll double check.

4) Fighting Style is a flavor thing for your character like it was in the old version.

5) We did a complete reset. Nothing from the old version counts in this new version. Character heritage is allowed (Vad is the son of Toma, my old Chubbs character)

6) We have a thread for that: Artistic Interpretation Post up the photo there to get it approved, but from here it looks fine.

I understood the stats and zeni bit, just wanted to point out on the join form, the starting stats and zeni bit aren't included in the example template. Starting zeni is 250 as its stated in [07] Money.

Also, is it possible to change my one ability from Ki Specialization to Martial Arts Specialization? I misunderstood the difference between Strength and Focus stats.

For reference, abilities can only be acquired through Dragonballs, but you can purchase TECHNIQUES -- some acting as more subdued versions of abilities -- at any point in time.

Starting stats were always included in the application: it's right in between "Traits" and "Role-play Sample." Since they were only presented as a list, I reformatted it so that it's more clear.

Starting zeni is not included in the join template, because we only ask for information we don't already have. Staff automatically adds it to the rosters. If people need to know the actual number, it's found in the first line of the money section in the Rules forum.
