Cell Phones (No, I don't want your numbers)
#1
I'm actually just curious as to what phone people are using. I'm currently using the Blackberry 9000 (Bold) from AT&T.

It's been working great up until 2 days ago, when my battery decided to not last for more than a day. Oh well, though, it's just about new phone time for the contract anyway. Looking at the Samsung Solstice.

Please don't tell me to get an iPhone. I don't have the money to get the required $30 a month data plan.

I'm using a Pantec Matrix from ATT. I like it, but my SLVR was much better. I ran that sucker over with my car and it still worked.

I had a Pantech phone. I had to get it replaced 3 times within a year, just because it stopped working.

I decided that Pantech is not something that I want to waste any effort/time/money on.

Yeah. It's flimsy, I've dropped this from my car a couple times. I've been lucky. I tend to beat the piss out of my phone.

I don't follow cell phones much, because besides texts I don't need the other stuff. I find feature heavy phones are very fragile. I use the SLVR as my durability example. "Must withstand 2 ton vehicle and 2 story drops."

One of my classmates has the Black Berry Storm. She loves it.

I've still got an original (and I mean original) Motorola Razr.

It's aged really well... looks-wise. But the buttons are straight fucked and the battery's shot in a day.

I'm getting an LG Secret later this year.

I have a phone for like 4 years until yesterday. Had like 64x64 picture taking capabilities as the feather in its cap. Only replaced it last week, and that was because the CHARGER ended up breaking. Phone's been dropped a couple times, put through the wash about 3, and was still ticking along just fine. No one carries the chargers anymore, so I had to get a new phone.

It's pretty cool. I like the snap that it has on opening and closing. I detest the newer phones these days that slide with too much ease. It has a pretty good heft to it, and feels solid.

Of course, the thing I like most about it is that I can finally use the Phoenix Wright ringtone I made two years ago. Hearing Nick's Steel Samurai phonering every time someone calls me is pretty much the best thing ever.

I wouldn't mind having that phone ring. Currently, my ringtone is Captain Hammer singing "A Man's Gotta Do" from Dr. Horrible.

To me, the thread is less about criticizing/defending Avatar and more about wondering how stoned Jack was when he saw the movie/made the thread.

Never used that phone, particularly, but I have pretty much only good things to say about LG.
