Earlier today, William Peckham, a surveyor for Sector Unlimited, called the authorities to report that the people of Meridian City, whose lives were once thought tragically lost in the Construct's attack, have miraculously reappeared in the city's ruins. Although the circumstances of their recovery remain unclear, the survivors appear to be unharmed.

We now go live to our lead reporter on the ground, Jim Toreino."

As you can see behind me, the Earth military has wasted no time in setting up temporary camps for these refugees, many of whom have no memory of the attack that took their lives. Military and aid groups are scrambling to get in touch with the former victim's families and are providing food and water for the hundred thousand displaced civilians.

It is truly a massive undertaking, but one which the organizers say they are glad to shoulder."

Scientists are at a loss to explain the phenomenon, which many believe was triggered by the same effect that caused storm clouds to cover the Earth earlier today. Despite the speculation, there are more questions than answers. Was it a temporal anomaly? Are these clones? Aliens? Or was it magic? No one really knows for sure yet, although the survivors questioned appear to have complete memories of everything leading up to their supposed deaths.
