Alright everyone, welcome to Our Eternal Violence!

The Prologue and CNN post are currently up, as is the Information thread which is available in this forum. Join Threads will be up very shortly, most likely tonight, and I just ask you all to be patient, as some of you are aware this has been a very, very long weekend for me. Also, for staff, the Prologue should be locked and stickied accordingly.

Any comments and criticisms and questions are welcome in regards to the Saga as it progresses. Just know that if it seems vague, it may or may not be that way on purpose.

Alright everyone, Chapter One has commenced.

At this point, this is essentially your joining thread. The deadline for joining will be 8:00 p.m. Sunday July 25th.

You can either join Central or South City's forces via enlisting in their armed forces at either major military Fort. Choose whichever force you feel most comfortable in based on their description of the military, and whatever other information you want to use to decide. Neither force is necessarily good or evil.

Feel free to interact with one another. I hope that the sides are fairly balanced, but if they are not that will not be a problem.

I haven't decided which force to join, but if I did join South City, could Juno sneak his XRS-9 into Fort Wingfoot? It's in pistol form right now, essentially the size of a small sidearm. This won't affect which force I join, but it might alter some of my own personal story elements; nothing on the large scale.

I mean, no, but there are ways around such things. Just have him try to enter with it, have it confiscated upon entry, and then THAT will be the weapon that receive later or whatever.

Oh, and p.s. assume the squad leader will whip on your ass and not put up with bullshit. I'm not going to give him a CA but just assume he's stronger than you, this is being done as to maintain order within the base.

Well, that was a pretty solid post. I've joined South City's military. Juno's a special-ops kind of guy, and he has some better history with South City, in the latter stages of his background.

My post is kind of mature, but there's a warning at the top. I didn't mean for it to go quite as far that direction, but you know how the writing can just kind of take over sometimes. Oh, and anyone can interact with Juno, but Phebe's going to be there with him. She's kind of brusque, and doesn't put up with much joking but is otherwise very nice and sweet. She's basically a sugarplum with a backbone.

I'll be joining as soon as I get my character up and ready again. Just to let you know my character is a 7 foot something changeling with four arms :p Watch out.
