Garbanz is a large saiyan, standing at six foot one and a half. His blue eyes stand out through long, shaggy locks of black hair.

When he expands his armour to cover his entire body, he is considerably larger and looks like a cliché black knight of yore. (A bit like this, but without the cloak)
Background:
Born with a power level of 1, Garbanz was one of the few saiyans not assigned to the army. Instead, he was delegated to crafting weapons for those stronger. Derided by the warriors and despised as a symbol of the saiyan race by the tuffle slaves he worked with, Garbanz had not a friend in the world. Then, as he had almost given up hope, he had a vision of a girl who would give him purpose. Travelling to Earth on that whim represented his last gamble.
Personality:
Single-minded to an extreme (some might say to insanity), Garbanz lives his life solely to serve the android Lia, whom he refers to as “my lady”. Whilst speaking to her, the saiyan is overzealous, enthusiastic and diligent, his only wish being to carry out her will. To anyone else, he is essentially a closed book, tending to show little interest in talking unless doing so somehow directly or indirectly serves his lady. Depending on his mood (which itself depends on how well he feels he is serving his lady) he behaviour towards others can range from polite joviality to hostility and xenophobia, with his internal outlook swaying from optimistic to nihilistic.
Regardless of his current state of mind, Garbanz is always pensive and tends to give every decision a great deal of care and consideration. This is reflected in his craft – a learned ability to disassemble and reform metal at will by infusing his ki into it – in which he takes great pride. His weapons and armour bring beauty and functionality together in a marriage that begets awe from all his patrons. Of course, the only opinion Garbanz really cares about is that of Lia.
Fighting Style:
Having had no reason to take up combat until leaving Planet Vegeta, Garbanz has little combat skill or experience. Realising that his lady may need martial assistance, however, he spent his year travelling to Earth training in preparation. Since meeting his lady, his fighting skills have begun to progress at an even faster rate, driven on by a newfound determination that he has never felt before.
As he has had no formal combat training, Garbanz is essentially a brawler, but by no means is he rabble. His ability to transform his weapon gives the saiyan unparalleled versatility. Garbanz is also pretty sharp for a saiyan, and not averse to coming up with creative ways of taking down a stronger or more skilled opponent.
