Because of the job of transporting every warrior there, would it be possible to make the opening post dual? The first post would be the explanation of how the warriors got there, and the second post would be the actual opening ceremony.

In between the two posts, the participants could roleplay about the journey to the event, the meeting with other people, yadda yadda yadda. I think that would make for a smoother beginning than just seizing everyone's character, throwing them into the seats, and blasting them with the information. Peachy?
