Personality
Kami is a wise old Namekian. He doesn't like to waste time or energy on the little things that don't matter in the frame of the big picture. He remains calm and level headed in tense situations, or at least hides his looming doubts well. He fiercely defends his friends and allies, often coming into harms way to make sure a close friend remains safe. Being the Guardian of the Earth he is vigillant and selfless. He has a deep seeded desire to challenge himself, and test his physical and mental prowess. He is a kind hearted individual but has no pity for evil, selfish, greedy manipulative jerks. His weakness may lie in his compassion for others, but it is also a huge strength. He enjoys battle from a tactical standpoint, as well as seeing how he matches up against other opponents, he loves the thrill. He isn't quick to anger, but when he reaches that point it dredges up a lot of bad memories and is a shitty deal for whoever is on the reciving end.
Possible Reactions
He views it as a game which he enjoys playing. He's had interactions in similar situations in the past and enjoys the tactical side of the game immesely. The more time he can spend outwitting people and not fighting, the better a chance he feels to have to make it further in the tournament. He is playing to win, no sense in doing anything less with the talent and power he poseses.

He doesn't like to waste time and energy when he doesn't have to, but if need be he'll roll up his sleeves and simply go toe to toe with someone exchanging blows if he thinks it'll get the job done. He tries not to let his power ups go completely to his head but understands that they do carry a certain level of intimidation with their useage.
