The spot of the finale was the place that had seen the least action: the abandoned farm towards the east of the island. The voice on the intercom instructed all living warriors to that location, as that would be where everyone would make their final stand. One last big fight in the Abyss.

Seven would die. One person was going to come out of this alive. One person.

"I'm feeling a little exposed out here," Bra admitted. They were heading down a dirt path into the entrance of the home that stood at the head of the farm. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Once we get in that house, we'll be okay," Reijin promised.

In truth, Rei had no idea if someone had made it into the house already. It was pitch black as Day Six had just begun moments ago. For all he knew, the other six people were already dead and it was just him and Bra left. That idea made him glance at the saiyan and grip his weapon, just in case.

They headed up the stairs and onto the patio, then into the home.

Where all Hell broke loose.

"Split!" Reijin demanded. Inside, a ki machine gunner was waiting at the foot of the stairs, blowing apart the doors. Both of the saiyans moved sideways. Bra took the right, cursing as she knelt down and held her gun with her good hand.

The princess looked up to the left to see her friend crouching on the other side of the door. But the sight was worse: he was holding a bloody stomach. "Shit!" She hissed at him. "You're shot!"

"Keep your eye in there!" He demanded.

"But..."

"Bra! Focus!" Reijin could see a light shadow thanks to the moonlight coming into the door. "He's coming!" The saiyan lept out, holding his gun as he swung for the man's face.

Kami the elder namekian leaned back to avoid getting punched. The acid squirted from his gun onto his wrinkled face, causing him to howl as he backed up. "Arg!" He grunted, "Damn!"

Reijin aimed his squirt gun again, ready to finish the namekian off when he heard a shout. "Rei! Look out!"

Bra's scream went on deaf ears. Two shots of a ki pistol blasted into his already injured torso. The shots blasted out of his chest, causing him to pause. He looked over in surprise at Bra, who's eyes were wide as she glanced from him to the attacker.

An elder, familar saiyan. Bardock. She stares at him as Reijin's body thudded

Before she could react, the sounds of the machine gun blasting came up again. Kami had opened fire, but his eyes were still stung by the acid and thus useless. Bardock lept off the patio and onto the sidewalk below. Bra meant to chase her, but she couldn't go without the machine gun fire hitting her.

Kami stumbled out of the house, finally exposed. He was blind as a bat, so much he tripped over Reijin's corpse, but caught him footing. Finally, a little blue came into a view.

A teenage saiyan with a shotgun.

It flashed, and that was the end.
