Not gonna explain anything this time, but there's the stuff for everyone. To be honest, I'm shocked the town won. Once everyone was on the "Kayne must be innocent" boat, and no one voiced any suspicions of Teemer, I assumed ya'll were fucked. But, if I had to give a reason for the win, it would have to be everyone telling everyone their power. Once ya'll started with that, the tide really started turning against the Mafia.

Though, I was still shocked when Doe sent me his nearly last minute ability use to use on Kayne. Even after 90% of the Townies having their abilities confirmed.]]>

In the morning, the town would see that Mouser was missing and the aura of fear which they had temporarily thrown off came back two-fold. They knew that to make a mistake from here on could spell disaster. They had to start getting their guesses right.

His pleas fell on deaf ears, though. The townies cared naught for his supposed lies. Instead, the pushed, shoved, and drug him to the gallows, eager to put Toad to death and finally chalk up a victory for the town.

It was a quick affair, they had gotten better at this with practice, and after his last kick, they lowered him to the ground for an inspection. This time, they were joined in their inspection by the man who had recently hung. Striding from a nearby field, Toad returned to the town, showing off a mostly eaten green mushroom when interrogated on how he was a) in two places at once and b) still alive.

Of course, by this time it was too late to string him up again. The rules allowed for only a single lynching a day... well, so they assumed. In any case, the sun was set and the night was coming in. There was always tomorrow. Hopefully.

Shy Guy was thrust forward, the stern visages of the town staring holes into the be-masked creature. Though he didn't have a proper head, they all assumed that the noose, now being tightened around his "neck" would still be enough to end his life. As soon as the sun dipped completely below the horizon, the Pidgit zipped forward the Shy Guy was hoisted above the town.

The town watched grimly as Shy Guy kicked and thrashed in the noose's deadly embrace, unable to draw a breath and S.O.L. that it didn't break his neck. Finally, however, he kicked his last and was lowered to the ground. Rifling through his pockets, the town was unable to find any evidence that the man was Mafia.

Sullen at their miscalculation, the townspeople went to their dream homes, hoping to live through the Nightmare and get it right tomorrow.

Nightmare Phase starts now. It'll last until Thursday Midnight EST, or until I get all Night Actions in. You have 24 hours, people. Let's get to it.

Climbing the multi-tiered landscape with a rather awkward looking jumping, kicking legs and all, Luigi made his way to a house on top. It didn't take long, since he could jump so damn high. Why is he the sidekick again? Anyway, he stealthily creeps into the home and sneaks his way to the bedroom.

Or what passes for a bedroom for a cactus. Which is really just a sandy room with glow in the dark stars on the walls. Pokey was sleeping peacefully, dreaming the dreams of unnaturally sentient cactuses, when Luigi silently placed a green shell on the sandy floor. One kick, and it was over. Pokey was dead. Of course, Luigi only stayed just long enough to make sure the deed was done. Once those shells started going, they were nigh-impossible to stop.

Attempting to quietly close the door to the cactus house, Luigi never noticed the beings come up behind him. Maybe that's why he's always Mario's second fiddle... anyway, the two creatures ended his life as silently as he had ended Pokey's, and without the hassle of a shell bouncing around dangerously.

In the morning, the headcount turned up two short. Awww.....
