Eh, maybe I was a bit confusing. I'll break it down for you.
I meant the gif itself. I assume in the cartoon there wasn't a scene where the black suit continually materialised on and off. Perhaps I should have said 'adapted' instead of 'made'. I thought maybe there was hype going on because of the upcoming movie, and thus a new slew of appreciation for the black suit.

That was one of my favorite scenes from the show too, when he realized that the suit was turning him evil just by wearing it, then he tries to get rid of it, but is unable to :-D

There is something with a church bell, but I don't remember if that's while Spidey still has it or when Eddie gets it. I know that Dr. Richards helps him get it off at some point, contains it for a while, but it escapes.

The Shocker, Alistair Smythe's latest creation, snatches the incriminating photos of the Rhino and Spider-Man is apparently defeated in their battle. But he miraculously shows up at Smythe's lab to steal the Promethium-X back from the Kingpin. In a bell tower battle Spider-Man finally rids himself of the alien symbiote, but as luck would have it, Eddie Brock accidentally becomes its next partner.

Yeah, when they stopped showing it, it was like a million blows to the crotch.
I think Spidey got it off using church bells and then reused the idea against Venom. Then, realising the symbiote hated noise, got Venom near a launching space shuttle and pwned him.

They play re-runs of it on some cable channel like ABC or FOX Family (whoever owns that channel now) on Saturday mornings I think.
