Note that not everyone will be accepted based on trust and loyalty issues.

No, I assure you. Broli and I are completely serious about this. The reward will be given after DA:C if you've proven your loyalty. We are not the type of people that would go against our word, and then is definitely a promise. We're determined to win this event, by any means neccessary.
And WTFOMG Power doesn't mean anything in DA:C almost. RPing is more important overall, if not everything.

oh, I was under the impression that it was 10,000 up front, like:
Example:
Pan joined Dante.
Broli hands Pan 10,000 zeni.
Broli waves to Reijin.
Reijin rips Pan's head off.
Reijin gives 10,000 zeni back to Broli.
That was just a guess though.
I don't know, the idea of buying people is actually pretty smart, though if anyone defects, it's going to screw up the "evenness" of the armies, which is the point I guess lol.

It's a Zeni Voucher, meaning that you get a certificate saying you deserve X amount of zeni at the end of Conquest.
We will do our best to protect defectees, but obviously, if you're in Outcast territory and you defect to Dante, we aren't going to dive into Outcast territory to save you.
And buying off an opponent is much easier than fighting one.
By the way, the amount just got upped to 15,000 zeni.
