Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-23-2006

Any questions? Ask and I'll answer.

Pc3 Q&a - Banned Dana - 07-23-2006

When will it start.

How many people can be in it?

This won't be a tournament style, where only one can win is it?

Pc3 Q&a - Kazuya - 07-23-2006

Any way we can get a summary of what will happen, at least a rundown?

Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-24-2006

When will it start.

I'm aiming for about late August-early September, perhaps a little later. It all depends on how quickly I round up PCII.

How many people can be in it?

I haven't quite decided yet, but as was with PCI, there will probably be no limit. That may change, but for now, everyone who wants to join will be able to.

This won't be a tournament style, where only one can win is it?

When it comes to rankings for prizes, etc. yes. Everyone will be ranked by their roleplaying ability. I'm thinking of doing something different this time, however. Apart from deaths (and there probably will be a few), for now anyway, I don't think there will be any eliminations. That way, everyone will be able to experience the full turn of events from the saga. That is definitely subject to change, because it might be a lot harder to run a full saga with everyone in it from go to woe without any eliminations.

Any way we can get a summary of what will happen, at least a rundown?

Oh I'm sorry, that's half the fun. If you keep reading PCII, you'll see where the storyline starts to go. I will mention a few things though.

- There will be three new planets involved just for this saga.
- Not only will there be fights, but there will be situations where you might have to work with others to achieve an end without violence eg. diplomacy, puzzle solving
- You can lose your life in another style than the traditional death.
- If I can help it, Raditzu won't win this one. =P

I'm not giving away any storyline though. That's the most exciting bit. =D

Pc3 Q&a - Kaden - 07-24-2006

wtf you jerk!

Maybe I just won't enter, how would that make you feel?

>=(

Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-24-2006

Terribly sad, because then I can't reject you. =o

Nah, only a joke. You can win if you want. <3

Pc3 Q&a - Toshiro - 07-24-2006

Can I win it instead of him? *points to the long haired tailed freak*

Pc3 Q&a - Alexander Trafford - 07-24-2006

Will we be able to come to the living world with a halo to participate? If we're dead.

Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-24-2006

Sure, why not?

Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-24-2006

Will we be allotted any ammount of Fluid Time to wrap up our IC procedings? If so how much.

That will all depend on when it starts. If you want to fluid time something, I don't have any problems against it.

Any particular planet?

Vegeta-sei.

Pc3 Q&a - Kaden - 07-24-2006

Are you going to be intentionally trying to down-play the more "popular" characters when it comes to story events?

Pc3 Q&a - Burter Jr - 07-24-2006

Quote:Will we be able to come to the living world with a halo to participate? If we're dead.

I dunno how Trunks is doin it, but I would argue that only those people at King Kai (or Grand Kai in your case) should be discharged to go.

Pc3 Q&a - Ashe - 07-24-2006

Similar to Rad's question... Will higher tier characters be judged on a higher and stricter standard than lower tier characters?

Pc3 Q&a - Super Buu - 07-24-2006

Will we be split up into teams and sent to different areas (ala FoF2) depending on our IC relations, or any other thing like that?

Pc3 Q&a - Burter Jr - 07-24-2006

I just want to reinterate. This isn't a game. Or a tournament. Or a competition. There might be eliminations for the sake of keeping things from getting out of hand towards the end (we can't have 50 people in a finale).

With that said, this is like any other saga. If it's like PC1, there will be multiple starting points. During the PC1, you got to start on Vegeta or Earth. Trunks will then guide the players through the story

Pc3 Q&a - Orion - 07-25-2006

Are you going to be intentionally trying to down-play the more "popular" characters when it comes to story events?

Definitely not. With that said, I won't be down-playing the "unpopular" or "unknown" members who join. I'll try to make it as fair as possible in that respect; try to create some awareness of characters who don't always have the spotlight shone on them, but not neglecting those who are already well known.

I dunno how Trunks is doin it, but I would argue that only those people at King Kai (or Grand Kai in your case) should be discharged to go.

Maybe. Maybe not. I'd say if anyone wants to come from the afterworld, King Kai's or not, you'll be able to get there. Don't worry, there'll be a good IC reason.

Similar to Rad's question... Will higher tier characters be judged on a higher and stricter standard than lower tier characters?

Hmm... I didn't really think about that. Perhaps. I don't want to alienate new people to the RPG who join because they get their arses handed to them roleplaying-wise. I'm not sure. That's one of those "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it" deals. But, I'll try to make it fair.

Will we be split up into teams and sent to different areas (ala FoF2) depending on our IC relations, or any other thing like that?

That's your choice. I'll say that at the beginning of the saga, there will be groups where characters will have to divide, but you can follow your IC friend if it makes sense. You'll have to take a side, but you won't be forced into any particular one.

Along the line of my last post, will we have to get to Vegeta-sei on our own? If so, will there be an obvious, mass IC reason?

Dunno. I might be nice and give free travel to everyone there.

Oh, and there will definitely be an obvious IC reason to go there. =D

Pc3 Q&a - Mal Nova - 08-10-2006

Meh this might be a dead thread and I might risk getting warned, but I'm going to ask...

Is there goign to be a good guy bad guy side in this?

I never read PC1 but i think i'll check out PC2.

Also just to make it clear, you dont need a power-up to get far in this do you?

Pc3 Q&a - Old Dave - 08-10-2006

No you don't need a powerup and look up PC 1..good shit there.

Pc3 Q&a - Hellfighter 17 - 08-10-2006

PCs (playable characters) will partake in the good side, if that's what you meant, but there will be [an] antagonist(s). There could be chances to be on the bad side, but there are no plans for it at this moment. Oh, and Uub is right. While they could definitely help at certain moments, your duration in the saga most likely won't be determined by it.

Pc3 Q&a - Mal Nova - 08-10-2006

It'd take forever to read PC1 and I'd need like alot of links wouldnt I?

Edit: Psssh! Always got to be on the good side =( lol
