Well, that ended pretty abruptly. Still, I enjoyed the main story, guess now I'm gonna reload an old save and do some more side quests, ect.

To the Shelter! - Dr. Cringle - 02-27-2009

This sucksss. I downloaded that Chinese Alaska mission thing before I left Job Corps, but with packing and all I never had a chance to play it....it's been weeks since I've played Fallout 3. ;-;

To the Shelter! - Rem-13 - 03-28-2009

I Got the Pitt expansion.

Having lived a quick ride outside of Pittsburgh all my life I can tell you its an incredible adaptation. I can barely tell the difference!

To the Shelter! - Waffuru - 03-28-2009

Thanks for the reminder. I'm loading it NOW.

I like the Pitt but it's kinda short.

To the Shelter! - Rem-13 - 04-02-2009

Yeah, the novelty of it being Pittsburgh gone, its not really that great. I hear Anchorage wasnt all that either. Steel better make up for that shit.

To the Shelter! - Waffuru - 04-02-2009

Agreed.

To the Shelter! - Sage - 05-10-2009

I have Broken Steel.

Have only played a tiny little bit of it but the ending makes so much more sense now, at least. Can't say if it's worth it yet; have only messed around a little bit.

Good to have a reason to play it again, though. Was epic burned out on Fallout. XD

To the Shelter! - Rafael - 05-10-2009

Meh, it was fun to play but like everyone says, the end was fail. With Oblivion and now this game it looks like Bethesda's going to get into the habit of selling most-of-a-games with the really good stuff coming later so they can nickle and dime you down, although for Oblivion the castle and vampire lair xpacs were half-assed trash imo, and the thieves' den had a lot of things I fel necessary, like concentrated trainers and a place to buy more than one lockpick at a time. I mean, seriously. Not buying either one for Fallout, though. It was fun, but I'm done with it.

To the Shelter! - Jonathan Meer - 05-10-2009

I felt Oblivion was much more of a completed game than Fallout was. Much larger game too.

To the Shelter! - Rafael - 05-10-2009

It was a full if annoying to farm game, but I got irritated after I bought the two expansions before Shivering Isles. The castle was utterly useless, and the vamp cave did nothing but give you a minion that gives a lame amount of loot that gets lower every time he goes out and a cheap way out of vampirism, which trivializes it. I was disappointed and felt ripped off, even though I'd buy them again just to have them all.

To the Shelter! - Kaden - 05-10-2009

The castle was awesome if you didn't want to deal with the gay Mage's Guild.

To the Shelter! - Rafael - 05-10-2009

I meant, I think it's battlesomething keep, not the tower. The tower's sweet, if only because it was fun to blast the bookcases to see all the books fly everywhere, and to have free herbs and ports to the cities, even if it doesn't really matter with the auto travel, which is the best thing in a game ever btw.

To the Shelter! - Sage - 05-11-2009

I preferred Fallout, for the atmosphere, but I can probably agree that Oblivion had probably a more polished total package.

That said, Oblivion-style level-scaling (actually, the whole leveling system in that game) is epic fail.

To the Shelter! - Jonathan Meer - 05-11-2009

Fallout's level-scaling is better?

To the Shelter! - Sage - 05-11-2009

Jonathan Meer Wrote:Fallout's level-scaling is better?

Much. Go to Old Olney at level 5. Try not to die.

Enemies scaling with you is retarded.

To the Shelter! - Dr. Cringle - 06-20-2009

*sigh* So, lik, apparently there's going to be two more new Fallout 3 DLCs available in the near future. Mothership Zeta and Point Lookout? Great, now I'mma have to shell out another twenty bucks for the both of them. ;-;

EDIT: Oh, here's a link of an interview about the latest DLCs about to hit Fallout:

To the Shelter! - Rem-13 - 06-20-2009

I liked Broken Steel, though maybe it's more to do with how disappointing the others were.

Point Lookout seems like it'll be a blast.

To the Shelter! - Dr. Cringle - 06-21-2009

Yeah, after reading the interview and looking over the screenshots these new DLCs look to be pretty awesome. Looks can be deceiving of course, but this might just work. =o
