Doomsday beat the Justice League, except Superman. I think he was looking for him or something and they were fighting in Metropolis. They actually killed each other, but Doomsday comes back to life after a certain amount of time, depending on how he died.
I dont understand how people can say Superman is a boring hero. He doesn't fly through stars all the time... his fights are actually the best because they are so exaggerated. And it's usually the writer's fault (being lame) that Superman builds underwater cities and flies through time like he's God. That's not Superman. Superman can be beat and has been numerous times.
EDIT: Thor is stronger than Superman. He's the same hero, just with a hammer that let's him teleport through dimensions and space and control storms. And he's been beat before too.

I have an old Spiderman versus Superman comic laying around somewhere.
Or at least thats how it was advertised. Fucken spiderman gets blasted with red sunlight smacks Supes around a little bit then they go off and do battle with thier respective villains. No versus, just a few punches.

Sephiroth is strong, yes, but he's possibly the stupidest villain in all of Final Fantasy. Badass? Sure. Deep? Ha, no. A boring character, if there ever was one. Kefka is cooler. Seymour is way cooler. Sephiroth is just a long-haired, long-sworded pretty boy that kills things. Whoo?
