The purpose for Meer's post was just to let you know that Diminishing Returns has been considered.

I assume the implications of his post are that, since there is currently no DR mechanic in place it stands to reason that we were unable to come up with a satisfactory implementation.

The automated system we use introduced complications to just tacking on DR. It sounds like an easy thing to say "if you're stronger, you should get less" but that started breaking down when we looked at actually getting code that would facilitate that.

Okay, so, I know NOTHING about web page coding. Now, with that said, cant we just use different coding for different people?

Example: three different coding scripts and three different groups
Noobs
Medium
Veteran

All with different coding so all with different gains? This again has probably already been said, but I'm just try'na be helpful. Smile

That would require entirely different plugins for the forums and then a method of switching characters from one category to the next. It would be more than the three times the work of getting the current XP system to work (which required a lot of customization to fit our needs).
