I'm pretty sure the whole 'opposites attract' thing is bullshit.
Differences attract (because there are very few clones in the world lolol). But if you sat down and actually worked out the opposite of your personality, I think most people would be flat-out repulsed by the result.

Yeah it is, try spending a life time with someone you have nothing in common with. Sure it's good to have some minor differences, but glaring ones, or a large number of them is doomed to failure. It's much easier to get along with someone if you like the same things, plus it's in our nature to make groups.

I think it's about complimentary personality traits and such more than some formula. Sometimes they're right - having two dominant, bossy people in relationship or two very quiet, submissive people probably won't work very well. That doesn't mean there's an ideal formula.

No, two quiet submissive people in a relationship is certainly better than one dominant, bossy person picking on a quiet submissive person in a relationship. You may think it's awesome to be dominated by a woman now, but you won't think it's so awesome when she makes you feel like shit about yourself, and rips your heart out. Well ... you certainly don't speak for all submissive people there (I know quite a few), and certainly not all relationships where one person has 'the power' are broken (for better or worse, most relationships tend to have a dominant partner). That example was basically just a simplified case to illustrate my point, though, that being that there is no ideal formula.
I don't know if you meant me personally or just as a general statement, but being dominated by a woman is certainly not my idea of awesome.

Men are competitive by nature, and when a women calls you on your shit consistently, they see it as an attack. They argue with you even though they don't realize that the only reason this woman is calling you on your shit is because she's mad at you, and it probably doesn't help to argue with her more, rather than have a calm, and rational discussion with her as to why you might feel she is wrong, or ask her why she feels that you are doing something wrong that is making her mad.
So Vad, if you can accomplish that, well, then you will be fine. But I have yet to meet a man who can, so if you can... pussy, pussy everywhere.
