How amusing. Just because people think governments have some sort of abstract means of 'oppression' we're just years away from 1984. Where's the motive?
Members of government go home at the end of the day and live in the country they manage and are under complete scrutiny by their peers at all times.
We may have a responsibility to uphold the right to free speech within our own borders, because hatred grown here is a product of our own cultural influences, but that right does not extend to people who wish to come here to spread messages of hate born of the malign backwardness of their own culture's deficiencies.

Their motive is in the collection of power and influence, which politics is a natural beacon that calls to people who want that. Community organizers, the lowest tier of the body politic, hold seminars where they teach the soon-to-be's that power is good and powerlessness is evil because power is the trade currency of politics. Today they're banning foreigners over issues of speech because it's politically conductive, but since it wins support (power) the natural result is that career politicians take it a step further. They don't care about what they do or the effects, they're typically beyond the worst effects of their own policies; it's just business. That's all the more reason to put that power in the hands of the public at large.

I just found out that this group is coming to my high school to picket on March 2nd. Here is the message on their website.

I would much rather go to hell than go to heaven with people like this. It seems as though they are anti-Obama too, labeling him as the "anti-christ". I am interested in seeing this group four years from now, when Obama's term is over, and he still hasn't demanded that anyone chips themselves.

Nah, as much as that annoys me, I can learn to say "pfft, you're an idiot" during an argument and ignore them. Ignorance can be cured, but stupidity is terminal.
Which is why it shits me when the terminally stupid people can't keep their mouths shut. I'll be going about my day, then read some pathetically ridiculous article in the news and just sigh that these viewpoints are often pushed by those bastards, the media.

Well, onto some good news, it appears as though everyone will be released from school half an hour early, which made me wish that people would go and make fools out of themselves more often so I could catch up on my sleep.
Supposedly, the gay/lesbian people are going to "fight back", although my head principal "strongly recommends" not to. According to school rumors, the school can be sued if students decide to approach, and harass, the protesters. Then again, 99% of a high school students have no idea what they are talking about....so I doubt that is true.

That is an extremely old mentality. And why it's bugging me, I'll never know. It leads me into this rant.
Before the Jews of ancient times, no one had ever thought of one almighty god that would give in return what you did for him.
The Egyptians, the Romans, and the Greek style "multiple god" system was based off the fact that the gods, "Didn't give a flying fuck" and all you did was please them and they waved their hand not having a care in the world.
For me, the pre-Jew form of thinking as I've come to call it makes a lot more sense to me logically than the holy bible and the entire almighty god stuff. That's only because I like things to make sense. I can't believe that there is one god controlling it all and returning the favors I do for him...
Or I'd be rich right now. (According to that basic train of thought)
