I love Amp in every color, Sobe Adrenaline, Rockstar in every color (except the juice and the coffee; they're gross), Bookoo (which tastes like Sprite, actually), and when I really need a jolt, I drink one of those tank bottles of NOS. Monster, even the regular flavor, tastes like diet Pixie Stix. I realize there's no such thing as diet Pixie Stix, but if there were, that's what Monster tastes like. Also I don't like Red Bull, but I will drink it in a shot glass when I'm slamming a touch-down. No diet anything ever. Diet tastes not good.

But yeah. They're really, really bad for you. I've cut way back ever since I had so many in one day I started to shake.

We took a bottle of that NOS energy drink and some tubing and rigged it up to look like a nitrous tank strapped to the back window of my buddy's truck. Obviously it was crude and... hideous, but it got a few laughs.

I would have taken a picture of it. I get plenty of jokes about drinking NOS.

More like Fast and the Furious references. They're not nice jokes.

EDIT: Besides, you drive an RSX. All you need is a wing and a fruity vinyl job and you can roll with Dom, too! (<.<;; )

Oh Sage. You're too easy.

I actually like the Sugar-Free Amp more than the normal. Yellow is easily my favorite, but sadly, it only comes in the Shit-ton-of-Sugar variety.

Energy Drinks - Jack - 02-05-2010

I've only had green Amp. Didn't know there was more than green Amp.

Energy Drinks - Kaden - 02-05-2010

Green, Red, Orange, Purple, Blue, Yellow and Silver -- if you want to consider Silver its own thing.

Might be another one. That's off the top of my head.

As a simple British yeoman, it never fails to amaze me the sheer variety of energy drinks and snack products you have over there. Here we have like ... Red Bull, Monster, and Tesco-brand blue piss.

I don't seem to drink them as much as I did in Middle School, before they were called Energy Drinks. Mr. Green, the original SoBe drinks, BAWLS, Jolt, Surge, and then a few others.

I once found that pouring Pixie Sticks into a bottle of Jolt and then chugging it was amazing. Of course, since they were still labeled sodas, they had a limit to how strong they could be. I'd drink about four of them in thirty minutes if I were going to be pulling an all nighter with some friends and wanted to be hyper.

I wouldn't really do that with the stuff out now. Amp tastes great to me, Red Bull tastes ok. Haven't really tried many of the others, but 5-hour Energy, despite being the best for energy so far, tastes like a woman's first period (I have to clear this up with Saz though to make sure). Terrible.

I tend to more often get coffee drinks, which is weird since I've practically despised coffee since birth. But the past two years or so I've been trying most of the things from Starbucks and have fallen in love with White Mochas so hard. Of course, those things are blatantly filled with a ton of sugar, enough to make me wonder if they even put the expresso into it. Seriously, let one get cold and then drink it, when you get towards the bottom you'll have solid sugar just running over your tongue. Not cool.

Pulled a server install last weekend, we were all screwed and running on either Pepsi Max (caffeine) or V (energy drink, quite possibly limited to Australia). Didn't really enjoy the taste (it was sugarfree) but it kept us awake.

Energy Drinks - Celena - 02-05-2010

Energy drinks are just that, energy drinks. I wouldn't drink Red Bull hoping it will keep me up at night even though it contains caffeine because that's bull (no pun intended). I'd drink it if I had to be somewhere the following day and I hadn't had any sleep the night before, to give me energy. I also drink Rockstar. They've got some really good flavours.

Energy Drinks - Ander - 02-06-2010

I remember BAWLS. Haven't had one in a long ass time.

Come to think of it, the one I miss the most is Surge. And don't give me any of that crap about Vault being the new Surge, because it's not. IT'S NOT!

Energy Drinks - Jesper - 02-06-2010

I used to drink Vault a lot. I've probably tried them all at some point, but Vault was the only one I actually liked.

My 9th grade science teacher was addicted to that shit. Used to trade him cans of it for homework credit <.<

I was addicted to it during Junior year because I couldn't stay awake. Ended up having a caffeine addiction that made it unbearable to stay awake without having one. The boost had no effect either.

I learned about it from a PS2 video game called Run Like Hell.

Energy Drinks - Ander - 02-09-2010

Bawls used the be considered the "gamer's drink of choice" back in its day, because it was finally something other than Jolt (which, if you look back at late 80's/early 90's movies, Jolt has a lot of media references, so it was quite popular as well). Unfortunately, Bawls was only around for a few years or so before energy drinks started becoming big.
