Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Ashe - 04-16-2011 Shane Warnock Wrote:I knew there was something suspicious about you. The fact that people bought into your rookie cop routine goes to show how gullible people are. This will be my last mafia game. Wow. EDIT: Waff - I'll jump into another. These are fun. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Blue - 04-16-2011 I'll play another game... I just hope I haven't screwed up my cred too much. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Kaden - 04-16-2011 I'll probably play. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Vad - 04-16-2011 I'll play. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Jonathan Meer - 04-16-2011 I'd play Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Orsalis - 04-16-2011 Suuure. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Kole T. Merr - 04-16-2011 I'm in. I think the biggest thing that was suspicious about me was the fact that I would only post once or twice a day. This was due to my "Paranoid" status. I had to change lynch votes every time I posted. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Blue - 04-16-2011 It'd be nice to see some more secondary and tertiary roles in the next game. I think they added a neat little dynamic to the game. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Orsalis - 04-16-2011 I hated the cult, personally... it made the whole thing somehow cheaper. All my deathiness just immediately meant nothing despite covering mafia tracks so well! Mafiocity: The Aftermath - John Doe - 04-16-2011 It didn't help that the counters to the cult either died early or were absorbed into the cult. Very lucky for T. Merr. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Blue - 04-16-2011 Yeah... that's one of the reasons I sacrificed myself, Orsalis. I spent so much effort killing the right people and staying kind of under the radar, yet they were winning partially due to my effort. So irritating... Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Piper Juunanagou - 04-16-2011 The cult's stupid. It's enough to have to try and root out a quarter of the populace when everyone's hyper-paranoid already. Adding another layer of unstoppable cult and the whole thing becomes silly. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Rafael - 04-16-2011 Eh, I like the idea. The town still won anyway. They need to lose a game already imo Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Ashe - 04-16-2011 The cult had to work on the same info about the mafia that the town did, but if the cult absorbed a mafia member, they all died. Every night was a major risk because unlike the town, the cult had no abilities to figure out who was mafia and who wasn't. It was like everyone was a vanilla townsperson. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Rafael - 04-16-2011 oh, snap, didn't know that *night one* all the cultists have died! "The who?" Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Kole T. Merr - 04-16-2011 Every single night when I chose someone for the cult, it was SO fucking nerve-wracking. A wrong choice on my part would have eliminated up to 3 people at once, myself included. If I, as the leader, got mafia'd, we wouldn't have been able to recruit that night, so our number would have shrunk. The luckiest part was in picking people that weren't mafia. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Super Buu - 04-16-2011 I'm glad I got to play a game with the cult gimmick. Though, I'm sad I only got to be cult for one day before being killed. I wanted to support THE GREATER GOOD. The stories Ashe and Kole used to cover their tracks were brilliant. I did still suspect them both a little, but I decided to postpone it thinking that sheriff would be able to contradict them if they were lying. Of course, then I got recruited for the cause. This is how I saw the cult in my head, by the way. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - John Doe - 04-16-2011 One thing I didn't like about the previous Mafia games was how powerful the Sheriff was. If the Sheriff revealed himself, and if there were protecting roles, the Town was unstoppable. Very few would question the Sheriff, or similar roles, and would proceed to steamroll the Mafia. That's why I didn't include the Sheriff in my game, replacing him with the Watcher and the Tracker. Combined, they could have been quite a powerful team, but would cause risks if revealed. T. Merr managed to bullshit people into believing that Jarka's power was simply mistaken, though, so I lol'd. Edit: Rose, your link is blocked in my country.
Mafiocity: The Aftermath - Super Buu - 04-16-2011 Uhhh maybe this one, it has most of the same scene. Mafiocity: The Aftermath - John Doe - 04-16-2011 lol nup |
