We have no specialization with AP mid. No one mains there. What I mean is we need someone playing AP just as sure as Tryg is jungling and Mario is ranged AD. We don't have a player like that.

Versatility - Jonathan Meer - 11-28-2011

Why do we NEED that? We have a number of players who like AP, and who have a good repertoire for it. Sounds solid to me.

Support:
Alistar
Janna (but I'm getting a lot worse with her... never player anymore)
Malphite Bot

I would have to say my 2 best champs are Ali or Malphite, depending on the enemy team. I definately do a lot more damage with Malphite, but it's easier to lose control of a fight with him, and Alistar is fuckin amazing and controlling group fights.

OH! And of course initiation is easier with Malphite, but you can get a pretty damn similar effects with a headbutt+ground slam

The problem with that is when we get into games, have two champs picked and then start asking "ok, who's playing mid?" It's as much a matter of having someone as a "go to" than anything else. Those questions are how we end up with stupid team comps most of the time.

Versatility - Jonathan Meer - 11-28-2011

Then we should hash out our teams beforehand, and switch them around if we have to (as we get more information on who the enemy team is, for example).

Versatility - Kaden - 11-28-2011

And we usually do. It's just easier if everyone knows who's expected to do what we when we go into it. We have more concrete information to work with when looking at our own comp.

Versatility - Mr. Zhu - 11-28-2011

Weemus go read my post in The Riot Act, it'll explain everything you need to know.

Versatility - Jonathan Meer - 11-28-2011

Ok, that all makes sense.

One problem, though, is that we're pretty fluid in the 5 of 8 that we play a game with.

Versatility - John Doe - 11-29-2011

If we play ranked, I'll go mid. Always and forever.

Versatility - Ashe - 11-29-2011

What the...

AP Mid is, and has been for quite a long time, my go to for ranked.
