Instrumental riddle - Super Buu - 11-26-2005

It's probably something to do with one of those, but I don't know enough about music to decipher the notes. I'm one of those bizarre people that don't listen to much music Tongue

The Schnappi song?

I have no idea what that is. No.

Instrumental riddle - Tobias - 11-26-2005

If I had an instrument I would so kick the shit out of this riddle.

Instrumental riddle - Krillin - 11-26-2005

It's six friggin' notes, people. It's not Happy Birthday.

I can't allow vague answers. If you think it's from Pokemon or Mario, you must give what it is specifically.

No, HF. It's not O Canada.
Well, I give up then.

EDIT: Or not?

Again, no vague answers. Providing a link is not an acceptable answer.

'The Nintendo Theme' as it so clearly states in there.

Instrumental riddle - Super Buu - 11-27-2005

It's that tune where it goes high and low at certain points, you know the one I'm talking about.

I'll provide the chord notation for the pianoforte

I have no idea what that is, so the rest is totally out the window.

Instrumental riddle - Krillin - 11-27-2005

Guys, it's SIX FRIGGIN' NOTES. I could not possibly imply the Nintendo Theme in SIX FRIGGIN' NOTES. Perhaps beyond SIX FRIGGIN' NOTES, but not with just SIX FRIGGIN' NOTES.

The selection is not an excerpt of a larger piece, it is the piece in its entirety. Those six notes comprise the entire tune/jingle/whatever you want to call it.

Instrumental riddle - Hellfighter 17 - 11-27-2005

I don't know the name, but the one war/battle music where it goes 'na-a na-a nuh uh!'

Instrumental riddle - Krillin - 11-27-2005

Cell, I can honestly say I've never seen you riled at all. That ruins the Dr. Phil image I had of you.

Krillin, being completely musically retarded, you might as well be typing in fucking arabic. I have NO IDEA what the fuck you're talking about.

Same here. I'm just going on the whole 'six notes' thing.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I've seen Cell push little kids before, not sure if that counts as riled.

Instrumental riddle - Krillin - 11-27-2005

Final hint, then.

This is likely not technically considered music, though, like all noises with a harmonious, varied pitch, this can be recreated on the piano with astounding accuracy. It is a rich little jingle that is incredibly satisfying when heard, and denotes some sort of a special reward.

Instrumental riddle - Tobias - 11-27-2005

O Shitz

Final Fantasy victory fanfare?

Instrumental riddle - Bra - 11-27-2005

The Contra "I beat a boss/level" fanfare?

Instrumental riddle - Reijin - 11-27-2005

I'd say the dungeon music from the original Super Mario Bros.

But I haven't looked at the notes themselves.

This, Rei? I believe that part's about three minutes into it.

Instrumental riddle - Reijin - 11-27-2005

I've seen that before.

It goes **__-- in terms of how the measure would look.

Instrumental riddle - Krillin - 11-27-2005

Ooh, you just gave me the next sound I need to decipher.

But no. That's not it Monster Carrot.

Wrong on all guesses everyone. It's not the Dungeon theme. It's not Contra. It's not the Final Fantasy victory fanfare.
