Continued on from Uub's comment "Works a bitch"

I wake up at 0400 to go and take part in physical training. Whether it be a 5 mile run, cycle burn, regular gym work out, or whatever, Marines make sure you're beat the hell up. I gotta race back to my apt around 0600. That's when ya'll see me online for a lil bit, then I gotta leave at 0730 to be at work at 0800. I deal with money every day....alotta money. And with that money, comes the responsibility with paying people right, and if you don't, you get to hear officers bitch and complain to you about some stupid problem. Then they go to your boss, and then another officer gets to bitch you out. Then if you really fuck up, you get throne in the brig for "stealin govt. money" wtf. Anyways, at chow it's either, go chill wit the wife, or go to the gym for more work out. Yay. Then I get to work again until 1800, maybe 1730 if im lucky. Thursday's I get to stay until 2100 Field dayin the office, which means we're cleaning it like you see in the movies, from top to bottom, no dust no nothing. Then after workin a 40+ hour job, I have to come in sometimes on the weekend with no overtime and no extra pay, wtf. Oh, and get this, this week they're starting night shifts...which isn't exactly a bad thing, cuz that would actually give me more of a chance to RP during the day.

Also, yearly training.

Basic Warrior Training
Rifle Range
Pistol Range
Urban Warfare Training
Helo Training
Gas Chamber Training
Swim Qualification
Marine Corps Common Skills Testing
Physical Fitness Testing (x2)
Marine Corps Martial Arts (x4)
and others

Marines are fun.

Right, ignoring those posts.

HF17 is my foot rubbing bitch.

Waaah - Hellfighter 17 - 01-30-2006

I told you, you're too far away. >.>

Waaah - Android-18 - 01-30-2006

Mind powers, HF, mind powers.

Next week I work every day for a total of 30 works O.O.

Waaah - Hellfighter 17 - 01-30-2006

'30 works'? Is that a new measurement I'm unfamiliar with?

Waaah - Ruhiel - 01-30-2006

O.o

Wow. Well, those hours aren't the worst, but it's McDonalds, so any time there is terrible.

*glances at Vegeta's rant, and then hugs his lifeguarding job*

Waaah - Amadeus - 01-30-2006

Vegeta, question...

Do you get any Anti-Guerrila training like the Special Forces?

EDIT: Speaking of Special Forces, would you happen to know if any are deployed in Iraq? And are any being formed from Iraqis?

Waaah - Android-18 - 01-30-2006

Hours*

40 hours is the most you can have in a week, in a full time job anyway, like that.

30 hours x $7.05 (don't know tax) = $211.05 next week.

Not bad for me.

Waaah - Android-18 - 01-30-2006

Yeah, but not likely for me, unless it's holidays. I didn't say everywhere, it's just stanard to have 40 at McDonalds.

*sob*

Anyways, I've ranted enough before about my job, but I'm pretty sure 18 has it worse than any of us -__-

Waaah - Old Dave - 01-31-2006

ha ha ignore them, but honestly 18 your job is a cake walk I'm serious, I don't know why your not jumping up and down for joy =( I know I would be.

I don't mean that in a bad way 18, and I'm not trying to say it's not tough for you, but when you run your own business like BJ and I and do the shit Sam does, well Sad

Waaah - Videl - 01-31-2006

18, I seriously feel your pain. I pretty much work everday and have double shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Working in food service, it's money but God knows I'd love to throw my apron down and just quit sometimes. At least it's helping to pay for a bunch of stuff so it's not so rough on my family.

I go to school full time and pretty much wait tables full time. I think anyone that works in food service has it rough because customers fucking suck. I had a party of 16 yesterday that ran up a $150.00 check and only left me 5 bucks. I was running my tail off for them and was basically doing the best I could.. Tim knows exactly what I'm talking about. But, as a starving and constantly broke college student, it's money so I can't complain... much.

Yes, it's one of our basic trainings.

Special forces, I dunno about any other branch, but for the Marines, yes Marine RECON is constantly shifting through tours in Iraq. And if we are training Iraqi's to be special forces, I can't tell you, cuz I haven't been to Iraq YET, but when I do, i'll be sure to let you know.

And some people might find it easy to run a business and hard to work at McDonalds. Either way, it's dependant upon the person. I find my job easy, but some might find it incredibly confusing.

Good lukc for future work days, 18, and I'll try to give you a mind foot massage on them, too. ;)

Dude -_- BJ can vouch for this, running a small business is one of the hardest things to do in life for a job, the hours are shitty, it's a pain in the ass, and you constantly have something to do, and if your business makes crappy money so do you.

Waaah - Hellfighter 17 - 01-31-2006

Some might find that easy. Unless you want to speak for every single person and be correct.

Waaah - Old Dave - 01-31-2006

I'm talking from personal experience, untill you actually try =P you won't know what I'm talking about...and I'm not talkin a locker room soda shop Tongue

Waaah - Hellfighter 17 - 01-31-2006

I didn't say it couldn't be hard, I just said it doesn't have to be and that it isn't always.

Waaah - Old Dave - 01-31-2006

No but real life is a bitch and running a business at times is a stressful job that can result in very little profit for the amount of time and effort you put into it.

That aside yes I'm sure some people have a fun time doing it, but life blows and most things are not as easy as we would like.

By the way what ever happened to that shop of yours?
