Mine's a rather weird story, so bear with me. At the time I was still fairly interested in DBZ, and was looking for some DBZ game to pass the time one day as I did my work. I was also desperately in need of improving my writing skills, as many teachers told me I wrote poorly, and didn't seem to put much into writing whatsoever. I actually hated writing, truth be told.
So, with the wonders of Google, I searched "DBZ Game" one day. Found a few games like I had thought, but I then saw a few other links that looked interesting. Ended up on the site that Captain Silver was talking about (before it died). I liked the idea of an RPG now, after being on one, and for some reason it was oddly entertaining. Well, so then I googled "DBZ RPG," and I bet you all know what the first link I found was. And now I'm here, loving writing, and effectively stuck here as well. But I love this place too much to even try leaving.

I was Kami in Zento, then it closed. I floated around, heard of Chubbs from Rad, joined as King Cold, got killed in DA cause I was bored, later came back as Kami, dicked around for a long time and that leads up to about now.

I'd done a few other DBZ RPs before (Ultimate Pride for one), but usually they die and I'd leave. Then I joined the military and was too busy to do anything really. My brother told me about a site called Gaia Online, which I joined and roleplayed on for about 6 months. On it, I played a couple DBZ roleplays, but they weren't good at all. I shoulda figured that, since the average age for the site is like.... 12 or 13. Bleh. Anyway, it reminded me of how much fun I'd had on those old sites and I did a google search. This was the top result, so I checked it out. Surprise, surprise! It wasn't dead, like about 30 others on the same list. So I figured I'd try to join. After about 2 weeks of thinking up a good character, and getting rejected for others, I finally made it as Blue. Hazzuh! Or something.

I joined this website after a 4 year hiatus from roleplaying. One day I was just got the urge to see if any dragonball z rpgs actually still existed, and I stumbled upon this place. After a lot of reading, I put in an application for the only character I liked who was inactive.
And I am still here to this day...with no signs of leaving on the immediate horizon.

Yeah, forgot to mention that was pretty much the same with me. I'd been pretty much convinced RPing was dead for a few years, I forget how long but I never actually RPed with my WoW clan (that was supposed to take place in-game and ... it didn't).
