Jeesh some people. - Super Buu - 04-15-2006 I wish I had known about the whole 'you can customise your spiritken' thing before I'd gone ahead with the generic green aura. When I can stumble across a decent time to use a plot device for it, I'll probably be going to KB's style of spiritken. It just makes more sense for Buu, since he was always fighting super saiyans and stuff in the show while in his base form. The phrase 'non-transformer' holds some irony now, though =O Jeesh some people. - Spencinator - 04-15-2006 Quote:Originally posted by RaditzuI LURVED when Mystic Gohan kicked Super Buu's ass ![]() There were only two times I got excited when the saiyins transformed. One when Goku went SSJ1 for the very first time, and practically wailed on Freeza. Second time was when Gohan went SSJ2 and beat the crap out of Cell. Those were the only times that I ever got excited when they transformed, and then it got old. And then I prefered them just kicking ass without the transformation. Edit: Though I didn't mind the changes to the body. Its just they practically did everthing SSJ. Jeesh some people. - Super Buu - 04-15-2006 I think that's why they started refraining from using it later in the show. Like Goku being in his base form for the majority of the afterlife tournament. Makes it more special when they do actually transform. And yeah, the Gohan Vs. Super Buu fights were pretty badass. Especially the mind games after absorbing Piccolo and the kids. "Now I'll show you why my little brother looks up to me." "He doesn't. In fact, he wonders why you let me take him." Gotta love that quote. I really think the way the music flowed in that scene made a really great feel for it. Jeesh some people. - Spencinator - 04-15-2006 Quote:Originally posted by ReijinEh that was ok. It was the long hair that turned me off. But I didn't mind when he kicked Majin Buu's booty. P.S: I dont mind rad's long hair, it just didnt seem natural to me when Goku had it. Edit: Hell, I think I have like 7 videos mostly about the Buu saga's. I'm gonna re-watch the scene with Majin Buu and SSJ3 Goku. Haven't seen it in awhile. Edit Edit: Although I didn't mind his cool eyebrows. Jeesh some people. - Super Buu - 04-15-2006 Goku turning SSJ3 was one of the coolest scenes in DBZ IMO, half because it pushed the limits of exaggeration (the whole planet shaking, storms, random stuff exploding etc). The music really made it, though - I love that track. Jeesh some people. - Reijin - 04-15-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Super Buu That's my feeling. They really played into it there. You know, everyone across the planet feeling it, etc. They put an immensity into it. And the music... sheez. Jeesh some people. - Super Buu - 04-15-2006 I forgot to mention the whole buildup with him going through all his forms and showing them to Buu. That was also one of the few moments of clarity in DBZ >_> |
