I'd also like to point out that PCIII wasn't a "dud" because Burter didn't run it. Sure, Burter runs a mean saga, but that doesn't mean others aren't capable of doing so either.

Unfortunately, Trunks was the creator of the saga, and had to step down for personal reasons. It was handed over to Hellfighter, and Hellfighter had to step down for personal reasons. Since the leadership of the saga was shuffled around a bit, no one really knew what to do with it. Things dragged a bit, and people lost interest. So it wasn't a case of the saga being a dud, it was a series of unfortunate timing in running it. Surely people can sympathize, as I know of many who have committed to something, and find themselves withdrawing for one reason or another.

Also, the planning forum for DA:C was accidentally made viewable to all members, through no fault of anyone's. This, in a small part, shifted focus away from the current saga, because people suddenly want to be in the next one, to the point where people, even Burter, had to say, "Hey, there's still a saga going on, you know."

PCIII had very good potential, it just didn't happen to turn out that way.

... damn... I tired to do PCIII some justice...

Either way, I've learned from experience that the admins of long lasting sites don't usually make poorly thought out decisions. As such, I have a great amount of faith in the decisions of Rad and Reijin.

I figured it was obvious that your decision was only going to help CHUBBS ascend to a new level of extreme..but I guess I was wrong...or I could've been too lazy? Big Grin

Edit: not really lazy but wasn't sure if my opinion mattered, I decided it did today

I could have, but I was busy as hell with my own shit and I didn't want to comment until I had read enough to be informed. There's nothing worse than putting your foot in your mouth.

Wow. There's actually some support.

Sexy.

I got to admit, making Bar SM is probably the best thing to come of this. It should have happened earlier.

I agree with you, however:

That goes against your whole arguement on Akane, though o.O

Bardock's been with the community for over a year, though, and spent months proving his worth in Chubbs Idol. No offense to Akane. I'm surprised Bar was even put at the SG level. I was thinking, "hasn't he proved his worth already?" Tongue

Remember when we said the reassignment has been in the works for many months? It was intended that Bardock go straight from Idol to SM, to be honest. We had intended to do this months ago.
