Bully - Captain Silver - 11-26-2006 *Turned on* Woah. Bully - Krillin - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Bra I could take the time to explain it, but I really don't care to. I will say, though, that you're the first person to find Final Fantasy on par with GTA. Bully - Captain Silver - 11-26-2006 FF is better than GTA. I don't even want to explain that. >.> Bully - Aero - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Krillin Actually it should be vice-versa. Who actually thinks that GTA is on par with FF? Bully - Krillin - 11-26-2006 I meant regarding violence. Bully - Aero - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Krillin Oh. Well, FF has relatively no violence. Anyway, in regards to better game, just to start a debate, FF ass rapes GTA. Bully - Nori - 11-26-2006 Agreed, I suppose. Only because I find GTA boring.. because you can only do the same thing. Over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. and over.. Bully - Captain Silver - 11-26-2006 This is how they think of ideas: "Hmm, first lets add all the other stuff in, and then, think of what you couldn't do on the last ones!" "I KNOW!" "What?!" "Jump over walls!!!!" "YES!" *Adds in* "And we're done, let's use GTA III city, and change the name." Bully - Nori - 11-26-2006 Exactly. I'm not saying it isn't fun, for awhile, but its just so dang.. the same.. all the time. And I didn't like San Andreas. Way to much swearing. I know people swear and stuff, and I swear a little, but still. Ruined the dialog. =/ Bully - Aero - 11-26-2006 San Andreas was the only good one, and only because of the RPG elements they added. Bully - Warako - 11-26-2006 Best GTA were the 3 for PS1. If you disagree, I'll cut you. Bully - Bra - 11-26-2006 I just think the morality argument is ridiculous. I'm sure you've watched a slasher flick. But I bet that's okay, right? And for whoever said there's relatively no violence in FF... you're retarded. The entire game is based on violence. Kefka fucking destroyed the Earth. My point is, just because one is set in an urban environment, and one is set in a fantasy world makes no difference. Both feature the slaying of people both good and evil. Sure, you're playing the hero in an FF game (usually), but you still leave a trail of dead in your wake. And Pui Pui, I never said GTA was as good as FF.
Bully - Captain Silver - 11-26-2006 Oh I know, Krillin said it. <.< >.> I was just saying in reply to Krillin's post. But, uh, everyone can say this game is better than that and so on. But, really. It's what you like, and all of it is opinion. =o Bully - Nori - 11-26-2006 I'm not really going against the morality of it. Its a video game, if people like it, by your own right, play it to your hearts content. I just personally didn't like all the swearing in San Andreas. Its just.. it ruins the whole dialog for me. I do however think it is less violent. Yes, Yes, Kuja *or whatever* blew up Earth. But it didn't show them exploding in a frenzy of gore, like GTA would. Bully - Bra - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Akane Kimidori Oh, I wasn't trying to pretend that GTA isn't -worse- than FF in terms of violence. Just asserting that there is, in fact, a great deal of it in the FF world. If I came across as trying to convince anyone that GTA was soft and cuddly or something, my bad. But, to be fair, it's totally cartoony violence. =\ Bully - Vegeta - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Cell Jr. I disagree. Bully - Krillin - 11-26-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Bra Nope. Haven't. =) Quote:And for whoever said there's relatively no violence in FF... you're retarded. The entire game is based on violence. Kefka fucking destroyed the Earth. But that's the bad guy. The guy you stop. It's different. Quote:My point is, just because one is set in an urban environment, and one is set in a fantasy world makes no difference. Both feature the slaying of people both good and evil. As above, it's totally different. In one, you're the baddy. In the other, you're the good guy. Quote:Sure, you're playing the hero in an FF game (usually), but you still leave a trail of dead in your wake. And? Should I stay away from Lord of the Rings games? And Mario games, because of the dead Goombas? You're taking my personal decision to the extreme, which is incredibly odd, considering YOU didn't make the decision, and YOU don't know what ground it was based upon. So yeah. Want to question me further? Bully - Hellfighter 17 - 11-27-2006 Would you recommend it for a kid, then? I need to get my cousin a gift for Christmas, and his dad's gettin' him a PS2. Bully - Krillin - 11-27-2006 How old? There is profanity, such as bitch, and jackass. And beating up nerds and such. Bully - Hellfighter 17 - 11-27-2006 He's seven. If that's the worst, I guess I'll consult with his parents. He's played the GTA games, though, so it's not like it'd be a big stretch for him. =\ |
