his arm being cut off in the anime/manga was obviously a plot device to further his character, despite the fact that he's a secondary character.

He's not even a secondary character. Miroku is a secondary character. Sess is like a tertiary character. And even that's a stretch.

I wouldnt say that exactly, because (dispite the movies being non-canon), he's played some major roles in them. Not to mention he's made quite a few appearances. Moreso of a background character, tertiary, imo anyhow have little to no development, while you can clearly see lots of dev going into him.

I apologise. I didn`t mean to imply that I was pressuring you to roleplay. I was just nudging anybody to countinue the thing.
