But don't you guys feel like ... guilty? For being so overlevelled? >_> I mean, searching out all the secrets in a game is one thing, but spending pointless hours making yourself uber-strong so you can beat the next area with no effort is another. I'd say it was something more to be ashamed of than proud, but maybe that's just my 'OMFG HXC GAMER!!!' mindset talking.

Geez, that final boss was crazy. Respect to anyone who defeated him without any help. It was along time ago since I last played but from what I remeber it used curaga every turn, healing itself 9999 HPs, with the cheats in action I was hitting him 9999 each attack, and still it took me ages to slay the mofo. So I can only imagine how hard it must be to beat it without cheats or stat boosts.

It's actualy not that hard, to be honest. I beat him on the first try, without cheats.

I don't feel guilty about it. I don't see it as cheating since it's within the game's limitations, and so I continue to grind. I personally grind so that I can continue the story of an RPG I'm playing. Plus I think it's fun to own a bunch of monsters who are weaker then you. >=P

Yeah, after getting owned I read a guide to see wtf was up with Mega Death and whether I was just unlucky. Turns out I have to not cure zombie. Couldn't have seen it coming, though. =(
Speaking of that fight, wtf is up with pre-battle conversations? She's all like "OKAY THEN I HAVE TO KILL YOU" and then they're just talking. What's Yunalesca doing all the while? Just standing there?
It's like:
Wakka: Oh man we're fightin' Yunalesca!
Lulu: Yes we are but I will not back down.
AURON: SHE'S COMIN RIGHT FOR US!
Wakka: I will not back down either!
Lulu: Even if I die I will fight for what I believe in!
Wakka: I agree.

Yunalesca is freaking hard! I beat Seymoure on my first try, beat the last boss on my first try(although I won't lie, that battle was a freaking pain in the ass!!), but Yunalesca killed me like three times.
EDIT: and supes, you forgot to put "ya" at the end of all of Wakka's lines!!! X(

Yunalesca's not that hard. Once you take away the potency of Mega Death, she doesn't have an entirely pwnsome flotilla of attacks and so forth.
And yea, Supes, the pre-fight dialouge and cutscenes are the worst =/ Especially when they're ridiculously long and you keep having to sit through them when you die.
