I don't drink. My abusive father was an alcoholic, I guess that's part of what's stopped me from ever taking a sip of it. Never tasted a drop in my life, I'm 16 now...don't plan to anytime in the near future.

I don't often get drunk anymore (the main exception being big parties). Always gets me depressed, and now that I tend to be sober I often see the same effect in other people.
That said, apparently the last time I got drunk I walked into a wall. I don't remember it, but given that I don't remember throwing up on my floor either but it was there in the morning nonetheless, I'm inclined to believe my friends. XD

Hopefully, there are those who DO know their limit and when to stop. Its not being a pussy by stopping when you know you have reached your limit, its being freakin' responsible, and wanting to live. There are a lot of people, with that same mentality you have, that have said "Oh shit, cool!" and drank till they got alcohol poisioning and died.
Of course, drinking too much isn't good for you anyways. Before I moved the first time, about 7 years ago, the guys next door used to drink morning noon and night. Guess what happened to them?
Alcohol poisioning. Whats sad, is that all three died within 5 months of each other, of the same thing. I can't be anymore serious about this. I don't want to be a freakin' know it all smartass, but I am just telling you my own experiences so you don't have to live (Or die) through the same things.

Those are the funnest times.
I shouldn't drink. I get very... Friendly, and usually end up waking up regretting the house I'm in.
Except the one time I woke up in someone's playroom surrounded by children staring at me. That was the most surreal moment of my life.
