The game engine was quick to load, the button layout for attacks/web stuff wasn't so...stiff. And the whole 'spidey sense' mode where you could slow down and do more damage...spidey 3 is'nt living up to the potential spidey 2 had. I saved my game when they gave me the black suit.
I'm gonna resume playing after this thunder cloud passes over. The whole spidey 3 game seems stiff. Plus when I was going to see Mary Jane the mofo's threw me into a 'city alert' type thing which I was cool with until I was suddenly web swung into a car
I hope it gets better.The whole battle with Harry was straight...thought it would've involved a simlar scene like the movie with them going through the alley and stuff but eh...shit. I'm thinking about driving back to movie gallery and just trading it in and getting something else...maybe Tenkachi 2 or something.

It wouldn't be as fun, but a freeform Batman game would be great.

Are you crazy? Batman would rock..dangling people off of rooftops, popping up and beating down The Joker, Two-Face, Riddler etc. I didn't play the batman begins game, I should've rented that instead.
Superman returns the game...I had big expectations for that game. But when I played it...I was disappointed. Next time they come up with a free-roaming comic book style game they need to take a page out of Ultimate Spiderman and Spiderman-2.
Those two along with WWE SD VS Raw trilogy, FFX, Kingdom Hearts 2, and X-men Legends are the best games ever on the PS2.

Naw I've got a strange taste in games. I'm just basically one sided...if it's a shooter or racing then chances are I'm not a big fan. I'd play it once or twice and that's it.

The games need to be longer dammit.
Also, what's really bothering me now is the very last Venom battle. It get's increasingly impossible when Venom get's wise to both of the moves the game has for you.. -_-

I dunno. I have the one for the Wii, and I basically have two choices for attack.
I can run in blindly, swinging fists like crazy. It'll inflict a bit of damage, but more often than not he'll dodge it and spank me away.
I could try and vault over his body, but then he'd just jump out from under me and beat the hell out of my exposed face.

I could act like a bird, but that would just look stupid and leave my small sensitive balls completely exposed.

They rushed it, plain and simple
It's a fun game, but it's missing a lot of the promised features... especially in the ps2 version. They completely got rid of the subways, they made NY smaller than in spidey-2 (I didn't realize a city could shrink...) It's kinda disappointing. I still enjoy the fuck out of it, since I'm obviously a huge spidey fan, but Spidey 2 was a lot better. The best part of this game was the final fight with sandman and venom... I loved playing it.

That would be realllllllly incredible. What it should be is that + the Batman Returns style gameplay. Where you could roam the cities, get to a building, go inside and play a mission inside the building.

Oh my god..THATS IT! The friggin city is smaller! I've been all over in a matter of like eight minutes or so...anywho the controls are easy to figure out. I've enjoyed it a little bit but it doesn't stand up to spidey 2.
