A while ago, just pressure in life building up.
On a related note, is anyone else nonplussed when people die? Its not shock, or denial, its just a complete lack of caring for me. No change in emotion. I've had uncles aunts, grandparents die... and I felt nothing. I felt sorry for my mother. Thats it, and I was even close with some of them.
I can only see myself crying over my parents and nephews.

When my grandad died, although I was upset, I had no urge to cry. I felt awkward at the funeral, everyone was crying and hugging me, expecting me to be really upset, and I didn't know how I was supposed to react. He died several years ago, a really friendly, laid back guy, I still feel slightly guilty I was more upset. I remember one of my sisters actually asking me why I didn't cry when I found out he died, I didn't really have an answer.

I'm the sameway, Tien. I think it might be some kind of emotional protective device. Or maybe I just feel like the person never really died. As long as I keep him/her alive in my heart, they're always gonna be with me. In my actions and thoughts, their influence survives and in a small way, they're still alive.

I haven't cried since I was, like, seven.
I don't cry either, but I don't think it's a good thing. Instead of crying, I bottle up stuff, then I release it all in a big anger explosion that doesn't involve crying. I usually end up just brooding, but not like an emo or anything, because I'm never self-loathing, and I'd never hurt myself in any way.
I have cried after I was seven, though.
And I can relate to what Tien said, too. I sometimes feel a bit detached, because I don't cry when people die.
I think the last time I legitimately cried was when my ten year old dog was put to sleep, and I was holding her as she got the injection. She still felt and looked alive, but you could see the spark leave her eyes. I sort of cradled her head and cried awhile, then shook it off later.

Last week. The issue with my laptop got worse when I finally managed to fix it, or so I had thought, only to discover all of my programs malfunctioned. Only windows media player works and why the fuck would I only want that? To makes things worse, nobody understands what I'm going through. Dell didn't do shit to help the situation. The whole thing just brought tears of fraustration.

I cried when my grandma died about 2 yrs ago. I felt the same way as all of you guys, it just didnt effect me. I actually felt upset that i wasn't crying like everyone else. But then the actual funeral came and it just sank in that i would never see her again and out came the water works.

Speaking of which, I came very close to crying today. I keep cutting class, not doing my homework, and generally fucking up my life. I have no idea why, I just have been doing it a lot. I really think people advising me to go away to college and everything is scaring me, and I am subconsciously doing everything I can to not grow up. I really don't want to grow up, or face the real world that will almost certainly eat me alive.
