Day Three Morning Discussion - Aero - 06-10-2008 Mino put up a hell of his fight; a testament to his good writing. Him, Rei, and Eighteen were the top picks after Seventeen died. Now I think it's pretty much between Rei and Eighteen. Though there are some people who are really stepping it up, like Violet. So I think any one of those three could win it. Day Three Morning Discussion - Android 17 - 06-10-2008 My money's on Bardock. Day Three Morning Discussion - Zangya - 06-10-2008 Android 17 Wrote:My money's on Bardock. The only reason I'm not putting money on Bardock is because he won last year. Not to say he couldn't win this year, I just don't think it would be entirely plausible for someone to win two years in a row when so many people have been competing. Day Three Morning Discussion - Aero - 06-10-2008 I'm gonna go with Bardock too, since Reijin acquired a major. Day Three Morning Discussion - Zangya - 06-10-2008 Just to interject, Raditzu won '06 with a major. Not to say he couldn't win this year, I just don't think it would be entirely plausible for someone to win two years in a row when so many people have been competing. In the pre-show, I believe that Reb said Rad would have won had he not been injured and had Bardock not had a plethora of weapons (including the Teddy Bear Bomb and was it the shotgun or the flamethrower? He had an armada). Nevertheless, it's entirely feasible that someone can be a champion twice in a row. It comes down to how well they've played and how badly they want it. I wouldn't count out Bardock just because "Oh he won once, he totally can't win twice in a row." Day Three Morning Discussion - Reijin - 06-10-2008 I acquired a major injury. Aside from that meaning that I am a bit behind where I want to be writing wise, Bardock and 18 looks to be the final two. I don't think there is too much I can do at this point. The weapon I got does not offset a major injury enough to gain me any form of advantage. 18 also has tier 2, a sniper rifle, no injuries at all, and top tier writing right now. She has the highest advantage in here, and if anyone goes to attack her, even if she doesn't fuse, she can maintain her entire advantage by having Rad suicide in T2 against whomever and her just finish it off. She has no reason to do anything other than sit around where she is and woe to the man that finds her. Bardock is sitting very high up there as well, T2, rocket launcher, and a minor injury. His writing is fantastic. Other than that, I'm not placing any bets on me to get beyond fourth, maybe third at best. Look at the fight, Mino had a major injury going into it. I thought I had enough writing advantage to not cause me too much pain to go in without SSJ, but I was inexplicably wrong. If Mino had not had a major injury, he would have won the fight with most likely a minor injury. Maybe a major injury, but I really don't think so. Like I said, that was one person I wasn't ready to run into, but the fight was still quite awesome so whatever. Grats to Mino, you always are a tough one to kill. I don't see that logically happening more than once per big bang. Day Three Morning Discussion - Aero - 06-10-2008 Last year I think it took Yamu's whole team to kill Mino. And they had like 6 people. Day Three Morning Discussion - Android 17 - 06-10-2008 Rad got killed by Bardock in the finale whilst he was distracted fighting Yamu. Day Three Morning Discussion - Reijin - 06-10-2008 Its just how it goes. This year he's posted twice and is already in the top12 and will almost guaranteed be in the finale and will have a much better end reward than 17 or Mino. Just how the game is played, really. Next year he's not even going to sign up and just be hanging out on a beach and get a phone call from from the "winner" saying "You win, I yield" after everyone thinks they are staring at the last fighter and he'll go "awesome" and flag down another margarita. XD Day Three Morning Discussion - Aero - 06-10-2008 If I win next year, I'm totally doing that. Dude, you're giving away all my strategies. =( Right now, my money's on 18 for the win, Bardock for second, Rei for third, and Vi for fourth. Day Three Morning Discussion - Android-18 - 06-10-2008 Yeah, he's just that XTREME. Day Three Morning Discussion - Aero - 06-10-2008 Nobody be votin for me. That's coo. I be that dark horse I hurd errbody be tulkin bout. Day Three Morning Discussion - Kirano - 06-10-2008 Aero Wrote:Last year I think it took Yamu's whole team to kill Mino. Awesome job to both 17 and Mino.
Day Three Morning Discussion - Zangya - 06-10-2008 I be other dark horse? Maybe? Or maybe I'll just get killed first in the finale, assuming I make it that far. |
