KoAII Round 2 Brackets/Info/Discussion - Jonathan Meer - 10-29-2006

Yeah. Can't say I was at all inspired for yet another fucking first-person assignment, and considering time is short, I'm not going to spend it putting together a half-assed piece of shit using a style I never use, and don't like.

As long as this competition is made using this what I consider faulty system, I'm not touching it anymore.

Well in all seriousness and no insult to you, the competition is for 'the best overall writer' on Chubbs. It wouldn't be fair if you always got the advantage, would it?

What do I care? Doing three first-person assignments out of four doesn't show anything about my skill.

KoAII Round 2 Brackets/Info/Discussion - Hellfighter 17 - 10-29-2006

I guess it just comes down to not everyone will like everything, but continually puttin' down the competition helps nothing.

I enjoyed writing first person for a change.

I'm not putting down the competition. I'm pointing out a fault. There's a difference.

KoAII Round 2 Brackets/Info/Discussion - Alura - 10-29-2006

It's not a fault, just because you happen to get things you arn't talented at. It's luck, I can't control it.

Me too. It was quite a interesting experience.

'Tis fun to mix things up in a while, though I have to feel sorry for Krillin's luck if he does, indeed, hate 1st-person assignments. I like using first person for dreams and stuff, or if I want to get really close into SB's mind in a personal roleplay. Keeps the writing process interesting.

It's not a fault or anything. It's just an area where you can improve. You should actually be taking advantage of this oppurtunity to sharpen your 1st person skill. I know I would.

The main point is not so much that I'm not good at first-person writing, but that I hate writing first person.

Oh alright, that makes more sense. No need to take time out of your busy schedule to do something that exasperates you. I am guessing that because of the fact that you dislike, no hate, writing in the first-person tense, that you will discontinue signing up for future KoAs?

I shed no tears for your lack of participation. If anything, I'm happy

KoAII Round 2 Brackets/Info/Discussion - Jonathan Meer - 10-31-2006

Ok. I wasn't exactly asking you to cry or anything. I'm not leaving out of protest. I'm leaving because I'm genuinely not interested.

KoAII Round 2 Brackets/Info/Discussion - Tamsin - 10-31-2006

Well mate, hopefully next time you participate, the random generator will be more in your favour.

Yeah. I mean, I wanted to do a 1st person assignment. Instead I've been given 2 3rd person ones.
