Champions - Vad - 08-30-2011 GOD DAMMIT LUX! Champions - Sigfried Hunin - 08-30-2011 Is Unchained Alistar released yet or do you have to unlock it somehow? Champions - Rafael - 08-30-2011 I haven't seen it pop up yet, but it's been known about for awhile. Nothing special that I know of, though. Champions - Kaden - 08-30-2011 Why do people play Tryndamere? WHY?! Champions - Super Buu - 08-30-2011 Because he is alpha as fuck, ofc. Likin' the free rotation this week. Kassadin is so fun fun and everyone who tells me not to play him because I feed horribly can just FRIG OFF ;_; Champions - Rafael - 08-30-2011 You should not play Kassadin. You feed horribly. I am looking forward to lots of noob Kassadins though. Not many "free-week" champs I like more, tbh =D Champions - Vad - 08-30-2011 Rafael Wrote:You should not play Kassadin. You feed horribly. Free Week Le Blanc must be a kill fest as well. xD Champions - Rafael - 08-30-2011 Eh, she's not too bad, fairly simple execution I imagine. Bad Kassadins, Trundles, Udyrs and Teemos make me smile the most Champions - Waffuru - 08-30-2011 Kaden Wrote:Why do people play Tryndamere? qft Champions - Kaden - 08-30-2011 Rafael Wrote:Eh, she's not too bad, fairly simple execution I imagine. Bad Kassadins, Trundles, Udyrs and Teemos make me smile the most LeBlanc's do worse than Kassadins on free weeks. Kass was no skill order to care about. LB does. Her ult changes, her blink is a long-cd. Her burst is completely combo dependent. Kass is just silence, slow, and blink. Nothing to think about at all. Her burst is completely combo dependent. Its true. LB technically has six abilities to use in her combo depending on what she leaves as her last of the four. Kassadin has three. Its unfortunate that Riot never decided to give him an ability for his W. I hate how its just this blank spot on my keys that I keep bound to "/taunt". Champions - Mal Nova - 09-01-2011 OK.. I have decided to broaden my horizon.... Here's who I got... Ashe Jax Kayle Malphite Master yi Ryze Sivir Soraka Tristana Tryndamere And of course Warwick Who should I try out and what builds should I try with them? =D Champions - Sigfried Hunin - 09-01-2011 I feel more and more liek a one trick pony every time I play this game lol. Ali seems like the only viable option if I don't want to die every three fuckin seconds. Champions - Rafael - 09-01-2011 I would recommend Ryze, Yi, and Malphite out of the three. Gets you a caster a melee and a tank and they're all fairly simple and safe to execute. Champions - Mal Nova - 09-01-2011 They are? How so? Champions - Kaden - 09-01-2011 Mal Nova Wrote:OK.. I have decided to broaden my horizon.... Here's who I got... Please, please, please don't play Tryndamere. Ashe, Sivir, Malphite, and Ryze are all great champions for really getting into the basics of the game. http://www.mobafire.com/ That site has tons of guides and builds on it, many of which are written by the best LoL players in the world. Sigfried Hunin Wrote:I feel more and more liek a one trick pony every time I play this game lol. A lot of people are one-trick ponies. If you watch people stream, you'll see this on a regular basis. Guardsman Bob's stream showed tons of this for a while -- he took a pretty hard hit to the Elo -- because that's just what people would do. One game someone would do just awful and then he'd get into a game with the same person one or two matches later and they'd get their "main" and do amazing. What you need to do is take the basic skills you've been working on with one champion and start applying them to other champions. Alistar, for example, is a good champion to learn how to gauge how much damage you can soak, how much damage enemies can do, and how to optimize long-cd disables. Take those same skills and move to, say, Malphite. He has a great long-cd disable, you can gauge the enemy's damage and use your shield to brush off harass, and his Q helps get a better feel for proper harassment and gauging your own damage. From there you could go to someone like Pantheon pretty easily and then branch into someone like Akali or Talon and then wut? You've gone from Alistar to Talon. Champions - Kaden - 09-01-2011 Rafael Wrote:I would recommend Ryze, Yi, and Malphite out of the three. Gets you a caster a melee and a tank and they're all fairly simple and safe to execute. I actually don't recommend Yi. Despite the simplicity of the champion, you have to be really good at the timing or your attacks and knowing when you can/'t survive a fight. Likely what will happen is you'll just Alpha Strike into some enemies, die instantly, and get frustrated. Champions - Rafael - 09-01-2011 Well, Ryze builds mana to boost his spells, generally picking up a moderate amount of tankiness along the way. Add a snare, aoe spellvamp on a fairly low cooldown and no skillshots and boom, easy caster. Damage isn't insane or anything, but not bad. Yi is an autoattack champ with an amazing ult that makes him immune to slows and move and attack faster for a good long time(good for chase or escapes, or even just killing towers) one of the more annoying and effective harasses in the game imho, and a selfheal that helps lane sustain a good bit as long as your mana holds, and a free chunk of AD that can be boosted further on activate, also amazing at nuking towers. Very versatile. I won't go into AP Yi, but there's also that. Malphite I picked mostly because he's the only true tank on that list. However, he's also relatively easy to get used to. Has a Q that harasses decently and also slows, some aoe attack speed debuff that tbh I never really use, a decent damage steroid that also helps a bit for farming, and an ult that make me lol every time it works correctly. Not my favorite tank by any means, but fairly simple. Edit:I suppose I should amend the part where I said Yi was easy. He's a good learning champ. Champions - Mal Nova - 09-01-2011 I thought Tryndamere was suppose to be some bad ass>_> Champions - John Doe - 09-01-2011 Mal Nova Wrote:I thought Tryndamere was suppose to be some bad ass>_> That's probably the mentality that everyone uses to play him all the time in every game ever made. As well, he's kinda hard to play anyway, so you wouldn't want to play him if you're trying to learn new champs. |
