I hate when I stop mid-sentence to do something else when I'm writing. I came back and I had no idea where the hell I was going with that thought.

Hate: This guy I met while playing poker. He constantly went all in, and always won. Every damn time. Ace Jack? All in! Jack Two? All in! TWO SEVEN!? ALL FUCKING IN!
Fucking lucky douche.
The Like/Hate Thread - Waffuru - 07-28-2009
Was it online poker? Cuz it's fairly easy to cheat at online poker...
The Like/Hate Thread - John Doe - 07-28-2009
I might have exagerated slightly. And I don't think he cheated, just got really lucky. Besides, who would cheat for play money?
The Like/Hate Thread - Kole T. Merr - 07-28-2009
I would
The Like/Hate Thread - Kaden - 07-28-2009
It's true. He would.
The Like/Hate Thread - Saz - 07-28-2009
I hate that I ordered Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on Amazon about 4 days ago, at that time it was out of stock and selling for only £17, so I thought I'd order it knowing I'd have to wait a couple of days more than usual, but that I'd get it for a cut down price.
Well yesterday I checked on Amazon and it was back in stock, so I go to check my email to see if it was dispatched yet, and instead I get this email saying they revised the order and the delivery estimate is now from the 11th of August to the 20th of August. What the fuck is that shit, if it's back in stock why am I suppose to wait around two weeks? Up to now the service on Amazon has been near perfect, items always arriving on time, sometimes even before estimated, so I was pretty surprised at this.

I hate a friggin bastard that needs an off road truck operator but changes his damned mind two hours later before I can find my friggin phone and get the message that he was hiring...

I like how Laura gave me the idea to create the enacholadizza. Now it must be made.

Kid Voldemort was like the best part of the movie.
I have to ask you guys, is this worth reading at my age? I only have to read the last two books, but finding out that it's in the children's section at the library (and at Border's) kind of discouraged me.
That said, Ender's Game was still awesome even though while I was reading it it felt too "kiddie for me".

Saw bits of it on Sportscenter. That's quite possibly the cheesiest thing I've seen in a long time.

Bil Baer Jaxx Wrote:Kid Voldemort was like the best part of the movie.Only reason it got into the children's section would probably because the movie patronized it in such a way that many young ones became interested in the book.

Go for it.

Harry Potter is not a children's series, just as Chronicles of Narnia is not for kiddies (though children can very well enjoy both)
Just bought Ender's Game.
The Like/Hate Thread - Rem-13 - 07-29-2009
It is... streamlined. It is accessible. It started out much more whimsical and suited for a child but became exponentially more serious. The books grow up with Harry in a way. They begin with with three deaths, two murders and the botched killing of a 1 year old child, they are always mature at the backbone, but again the tone and telling grow with Harry and, as I was always around Harry's age when reading them, with me. You wont have the same experience but my father enjoyed them as well, and he's in his 40s.
Ender's Game rocked and still rocks when I reread it.

I like that more chicks are into anime than most guys will ever realize. I hate that the ones I've encountered have boyfriends...fucking lucky bastards.
I like my lease being up THIS FRIDAY! HELL YEAH!
Hate I may not be able to move into my apartment on the first like I planned due to me losing my social security card. FUCK!
