And then I was raging to vad about not being able to find out why my id was showing up in an echoed out regular string, but not in the url. and then, just staring at he source code again, I realized I cut my url off prematurely with the &id=\"" See the double quotes? The \ character will escape the first quote character, meaning it will show up as just " after its parsed, making my string look like how it did in the source code. After taking that out, it parsed correctly and took out that extra ".
It was supposed to look like this:

I heat up a shitload chicken things and fishsticks, and then my aunt bursts into the kitchen to eat a boiled egg, so then I'm forced to give the fishsticks to my grandfather so it doesn't look like im being a hugo pig, then she asks for one of the chicken things (one of the big ones), then dips said half bitten chicken thing into a barbecue cup I made, now I'm sitting here with half the food I initially set out to eat, and a bbq cup that is going unutilized thanks to Dippy McGermstein.

They did a test on Mythbusters about double dipping, seems it's fine and there are probably more germs in your BBQ sauce then in Mrs. McGermstein's mouth.
