I mean in DBZ terms, the one thing that changes in appearance is his build.

Artistic Interpretation - Old Zangya - 02-11-2007

Yes, but talking in regular terms, would you not differentiate his appearance based on the two tails? I could also draw on a scar, if you like.

Artistic Interpretation - Alura - 02-11-2007

My point is that he should be keeping at least something from his unique appearance in DBZ

After the turnover and we've gone custom, I won't care, but for now it's still a DBZ website

Artistic Interpretation - Old Zangya - 02-11-2007

OK. I just don't see how its important seeing as custom is merely two-three months away. My character development is already beginning; I'm definately (well, probably) keeping Buu after the switch, so why can't I begin to change his appearance? Let's say he comes back as his normal self, but over his intensive training, he turns into that.

Artistic Interpretation - Kaden - 02-11-2007

If you choose to keep the canon character "Majin Buu" when things switch over, you're not going to get anymore leeway in changing his appearance. If you keep the canon, you keep all of the canon, not just certain parts.

Artistic Interpretation - Old Zangya - 02-11-2007

I don't care. I just need this for the development of the character into a more sophisticated being. I've tried to state this before, but have been rejected; now, I think, more than ever, should be the time to change his appearance. What if he lost weight during training? It's easy for him to do that. What if, when he was turned into gloop and tossed into a river, the pod holding Dai Kaioshin floated off, causing him to revert to another form?

Majin Buu in DBZ was fat. If we let you turn him into something COMPLETELY different, it's not even Majin Buu anymore.

Wait until the turnover, change his name so he's different, and then you can be a pink regal looking guy.

What you CAN do is fine a talented photoshopper, and have them make that guy look fatter

Artistic Interpretation - Old Zangya - 02-11-2007

*sigh* Alright. I disagree completely, because it ruins the post I was writing, but I will be forced to agree here.

Artistic Interpretation - Alura - 02-11-2007

Yea, pretty much.

Artistic Interpretation - Android-18 - 02-11-2007

Uhm, Majin Buu, you can be fat and sophisticated at the same time. A persons weight doesn't define their maturity.

Also, just because you train, doesn't mean you lose weight. Buu's aren't Human, they may never lose or gain weight.

Try not to look at this in a negetive way. I think a fat buu that's sophisticated would be pretty cool.

Y'know, choosing a random character that has few pics from the show doesn't mean you can just pick pictures of whatever big dude you want from any bit of media. Just so we're clear.

I'll let someone else approve or reject that picture.

Artistic Interpretation - Ashe - 02-11-2007

You also pointed out the bias in my using Sasuke as the image for my character, Max. In regards to people overlooking me choosing a random character, grouping me with Rad (saying that his image is Wolverine), Jackie Chun, Goku, etc. So who do you recommend for me, Max, since Sasuke is just such a change beyond imagination for my obviously well established character?

Artistic Interpretation - Alura - 02-11-2007

Sure us the picture with hair and you might get a yes. As it is now, it's no

Artistic Interpretation - Alura - 02-11-2007

I'd be cool with that. Rad reserves the right to disagree

Artistic Interpretation - Android-18 - 02-11-2007

Looks fine to me.

Artistic Interpretation - Sage - 02-11-2007

Yuh. It's cool. You can even lose the eye IC if you want to justify the eye patch.

Artistic Interpretation - Kaden - 02-11-2007

Your "philosophical waxing" doesn't make we want to do anything other than say no, Borgy.

That looks like a no to me.

Artistic Interpretation - Android-18 - 02-12-2007

Well Burter did say Rad can disagree, and I go with that. He is an Admin, and if he says no then it's a no.

Artistic Interpretation - Kaden - 02-12-2007

Borgos is correct in saying that I never actually said no. However, you're best off just taking your sig and leaving this thread, Borgos. You're not doing yourself any favors by posting here.
