That face tells me you didn't read it. No worries. Skipping most of the intro stuff, Vad saved Piper from South City police. They introduced themselves. They split up to complete a mission as a favor to Vad for saving Piper.

Vad finds his target, the building blows up. Trixie materializes, Vad is kidnapped. Piper finds a Dante's Abyss Toy Store, is about kill her target, when an injured Trixie enlists her help in getting Vad back from his grandfather Raden.

Thats the basic gist in a nutshell.

To add something to this thread as a hatred:

Paula Dean.

Most people won't get the reference, but its this cooking lady on Food Network (my wife...). Anyway, she's the one big on southern cooking, but what irritates me to no end is that she constantly tells people how she's from GA, Savannah even, and uses the absolute most "Larry the Cable Guy" style accent. Even worse, she tends to just throw the term "Ya'll" into the most random places without reason.

I say that word all the time. There's nothing actually wrong with it. But its a conjunction of "You all". So use it during times you'd say that. I realize that "You" counts as plural form for that, but if addressing a group, a lot of people tend to think you are speaking to a specific person (happens on the net to "wtf why you calling me out?"). If I talk to a table, I switch between "You guys" and "Ya'll" at times, depending on the sentence, to keep from using the same repeat phrases so I don't sound like automated response guy.

This woman says things like "So I was watching something on tv, ya'll, and the weirdest thing came up. Ya'll, this woman was washing her vegetables over the dirtiest sink ya'll, and I just couldn't do something like that. I teach my sons to keep their stuff clean, ya'll, and you should as well."

Now while that's not that uncommon to hear in any of those phrases (nor out of place, though I wouldn't personally say most of them), its the fact that she can string out a conversation like this using that phrase so many times in the same paragraph. Keeping in mind that she's got the thickest accent short of Jeff Foxworthy (who I think is also from GA).

Most people have an accent here, but not THAT thick, nor are they THAT obsessed with the term "ya'll". Its overexaggerated for television to bring in the "southern country slur" stereotype people.

YA'LL JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

I live in the south, too. I mean, I don't have the accent or anything, but as someone who associates with as many rednecks as I do, I think Paula Dean is faking it. o___o Like, it's a gimmick. It's shtick. Larry the Cable Guy is the same way. He's a totally normal guy with a totally normal voice, and the Cable Guy is just a character he did for prank calls on radio shows. It caught on, so now he plays that one character professionally.
