The Oscars! - Juno - 03-07-2009 I'm not arguing puppeteering. Puppetering is a work of art. However, I'm still going to have to go with as much as I love Yoda and as much as I think that was a perfect performance, it was still only a voice. Things like Dr. Manhattan and Gollum, where the actor actually does act, his appeareance is just fitted to the CGI model later, could be considered for Best Actor. However, things where the actor only has to use their voice -- i.e Yoda in ROTJ, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Coraline, Wall-E -- it can't be argued that these performance measure up to live acting. And I'm just arguing about Best Actor/Actress. Think what you wish about Best Picture. The Oscars! - Jack - 03-07-2009 Rod Hardwood Wrote:wut? Apparently not. Sorry.
