Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Shun - 04-05-2010 So does that mean you go to Hell if your not active, Heaven if you are and Kai's if you're super active? Edit: Whatever super active is... Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Ashe - 04-05-2010 Vincent Wrote:So does that mean you go to Hell if your not active, Heaven if you are and Kai's if you're super active? Not necessarily, for any of those. Its simply a gauge to assist us in making this decision. Being very active does improve your chances to get into Kai's, for example, but it wouldn't necessarily be a free ticket. I'd say that activity would have more effect on the vote between Heaven and Hell than bringing Kai's into the process. Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Shun - 04-05-2010 Ah. Thank you for saving me from that. I was about to OD post and then find a way to die...>.> xD Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Super Buu - 04-05-2010 I think the best part of an activity meter is encouraging people to post, since now it's all displayed and can be used for bragging rights in a way that post count can't be =P Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Cain - 04-11-2010 I was pretty active for a while in saga and pre-saga. Was that a deciding factor in Heaven over Hell. . ? Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Ashe - 04-11-2010 Cain Wrote:I was pretty active for a while in saga and pre-saga. Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Tamsin - 04-18-2010 Congratulations, Orion! Some Important Changes (Updated 6/7) - Ashe - 04-28-2010 I have made a small amendment to the Roleplaying Rules. This is something that was already covered under the section about "bunnying" but as I've heard of a situation involving someone doing this during the recent saga, I felt the need to reiterate and to make a special mention of it. Quote:Another similar concept is known as "metagaming". When used in the context of RPGs, it refers to using Out of Character knowledge inside of your roleplay Essentially, we do not allow you to overhear a conversation on AIM or to read a private conversation between two characters in a roleplay and suddenly your post has them informing your character of all of this information without the writer's permission. This includes having an NPC make a "big reveal" about the secrets of another character against their permission. It violates the intentions of the writer and we do not allow it. Thank you. |
