Fire doesn't mean "unread." That marks a "hot" topic. If there are new posts in a thread, it'll have a little down arrow, just like on the old forums.

Why doesn't the teal fixed have a "mark all forums as read" link at the bottom? It's so tedious double clicking the images. The red style has them.

Click on "Quick Links" between User CP and Members at the top. It has the "Mark Forums as Read" option.
