It has never been our intent to mislead or deceive the members. Everything that has been said was genuinely said because it was true at the time. Its extremely unfortunate that we have been unable to carry through with what we've told you.
Or, if you prefer the lay version of that: "shit... our bad."
The manual roster has been restored and training will continue that way until the old one is actually up and functional.

Staff is human. It's always been the community that made Chubbs, not one individual team of people. Your negativity as a whole is what's bringing down the mood. I'm enjoying roleplaying, as much as I ever have. It's no different now than it ever has been.

Honestly we don't NEED automated rosters/training. SH has been updated by staff for years, and almost every RPG out there is the same.
I think that in time Chubbs will go back to normal. We used to always have these slow moments, if any of you old member recall. We had a good long run, it was bound to happen.

I think a slightly bigger issue is that the more active (as in, more likely to help or something like that) can't do one of the more important things...like accepting joining applications.
I want to join, and I'd be active, but I can't, since staff is too busy with other things.

If the admins and super mods are too busy to handle joining, let some mods do it too. New members = more active-ness usually.

Kirano... activity dropped after when Turnover was announced, was spurred back up when DA hit and went down again after DA was over..

The join thing is fixed, and I'm trying my best to get on it. However, I'm trying to recall who may be gone with legit reasons, which join posts are recent, and trying to keep my head on straight lol.

You guys are sounding so dire. This place is self propelling now, I mean, shit. We're the top of the pack on google. If that doesn't say anything...lol. I mean, sure, this place could use a massive upgrade, if we really want to be more interactive, but that's a lot of time that most of us with coding experience and management experience that we don't have at the moment =)
I'm stickin regardless, even if it's just a couple of us actually playing. I can't imagine writing Vi anywhere else, it didn't work out before, and doubtless it'll work anytime in the future. she's mah bebeh.

Well said. I thought writing was stupid until I saw chubbs, and I became inspired. If chubbs is gonna stick around or not, I just know that it seriously inspired me, and I thank the forum for that, XD

Someone tell me the last time we had a slow time in the summer. please. I've been around for like three summers now, and it was always slow in the spring (finals and shit) and the fall, and summer was always booming with activity.
