HATE SO MUCH: The Michael Jackson seance that was on last night. It was about as terrible as I thought it would be. Just ridiculous, this Derek Acorah is such a fraud it is just beyond me how anyone can actually believe in his bullshit. When he was saying what Michael's spirit was supposedly telling him, he was using words like, "imperative" and, well other big words and just generally talking in a way that you'd never imagine Michael Jackson speaking like.
He was surrounded by Michael Jacksons 'super fans', and apparently Michael's spirit, instead of wanting to talk to his close relatives or explain what actually happened around his death, was telling these random fans how much he loves them and how their spirits will be together forever. Bleh.

There's a ton of people that believe Michael Jackson is either still alive (ala Elvis and Tu Pac, yeah, everyone is a gov conspiracy and in hiding, though in his case, I WOULD have paid my entire fortune to get some peace and identity change), or similar stupid crap (there was a conspiracy around how he died).
People should let go. He's not on a comet with Elvis; he's on a roof with Carlin.

It doesn't surprise me, as there is still a decent number of people out there that believe tons of stupid crap. For example, there are still people that believe we live in a geocentric universe. They think the government is hiding any experiments that prove it and keeping us in a lie to lead us from God. They constantly point at one of the experiments done regarding "luminiferous ether" back when that was a working theory (which yes, some theories get proven wrong, like this one - Einstein was involved with knocking that one out) and intentionally misrepresent what the articles said to "prove" that ether is both real and the universe is geocentric. They frequently cite these articles as reference, but anyone actually READING the articles will find they completely say that this is not the case.

Hate: People who don't watch their kids when they're outside. Yes. The possiblity of them getting kidnapped is very real. That old son of a bitch who happens to come outside the same time your kids go outside isn't doing it just by a coincidence you fucking twat.
Hate: FX's movie lineup is way too predictable. There are millions of movies to play you dildos. Pick a new lineup.
Like: getting help from a cute woman while grocery shopping. Even if you're not hitting on her it's something 'special' about going into a grocery store, meeting a stranger and shopping with them.

"Unbeknown to us, Ciaran O’Keeffe [the show’s resident sceptic] had suspicions about Derek and decided to plant some information to see if it would be repeated. He left a piece of paper around with the name ‘Kreed Kafer’ on it and said, within earshot of Derek, that he was a nasty South African jailor. When we started filming, Derek decided to get possessed by this fake person. The name is actually an anagram of Derek Faker. We tell people everything is real, then it turns out he was a fake, so he had to go."
I thought it was pretty funny that they continued on anyway though. It's like "okay we've been faking up to this point, no big deal. Our new medium is totally legit, 100%."
