The fuck yeah! Thread - Jonathan Meer - 04-11-2012 Like: Laning mid as plank against galio. He went to the minion line to dollop-bomb me, I Q-ed and fudged him all the way back to turret. Thread - Orion - 04-12-2012 Aren't there better choices than faster recall? Genuinely curious, as I don't pay much attention to masteries/runes. The fuck yeah! Thread - Jonathan Meer - 04-12-2012 Hard to say. It's difficult to quantify. You could say 'Yes, obviously, there's obviously better choices,' but then, scenarios in which that extra second would save your ass are not really that rare. I remember a handful offhand. Considering what it's up against (4 mana per level, or 4% off death timer), it doesn't seem so obvious to me. At that point, it's more of a taste thing. The fuck yeah! Thread - Ashe - 04-12-2012 Orion Wrote:Aren't there better choices than faster recall? Genuinely curious, as I don't pay much attention to masteries/runes. Here are your options. The majority of the time, you already have 1 point Summoner's Insight and 3 points Expanded Mind. Your next 3 points are likely in Meditation. This is all working on the assumption that you'll have one extra point left over, so that is why I'm disregarding builds that do 4 points Swiftness and such - they aren't relevant to the conversation. So you leftover single point has the following options if you want to get your last point in the third tier (thus removing the option of other trees). - One point in Good Hands. This will give you 4% reduced time dead. Its a judgement call of how often this is going to matter. Its going to maybe give you a single second or two on your level 18 death respawns. A lot of times, you are in the shop or something and end up delayed about that much time as is when you respawn, at least in my case. - One point in Swiftness. You get 0.5% additional movement speed. So if you are running around with boots and have something like 350 speed, you'll go up to around 352 or so. - One point in Scout, increasing the vision range of the wards you have placed by 5%. The actual view increase is so negligible - it will almost never actually help you escape a gank that you would otherwise have died to. Your reflexes will have to be godlike to matter in that situation. Also, take into account the way line of sight actually works and no matter where you place it, you've gained nothing. There are images up as well that show exactly the increase it gives you - nothing strategic. - One point in Improved Recall. How often has someone walked into a bush when you had just one second left on your recall after a bad fight or a juke? What about that Karthus ult that starts up when you are recalling and you almost made it to the fountain? I'd say the closest thing this has contention to is less time spent dead, as far as allowing you active time in the game, and I think it will be relevant a lot more often than any of the other choices, if only a single point were to be put into them. The fuck yeah! Thread - Jonathan Meer - 04-13-2012 I love having a safe oracle's. Piffing down those wards is so satisfying. The fuck yeah! Thread - Mal Nova - 04-13-2012 I watched Tryg as Mundo... Take Ryze's ward...Ryze put another up RIGHT as soon as he did... AND BOOM died... Wait this was hte same game that.... XD The fuck yeah! Thread - Anzekay - 04-18-2012 Veigar opens up the game informing me that Malz doesn't counter veigar (I picked after him). I don't actually know if Malz counters Veigar or is countered by him, but I consider him a safe pick because of his range and passive farming ability. After I inform Veigar that I don't really think Malz is a big counterpick champ anyway, he basically rages at me for being some noob in chat. And the rest of his game. And the rest of his team. Yeah but anyway this happened: ![]() Oh yeah the Kayle lost their internet for the first 9 minutes or so. The fuck yeah! Thread - Jonathan Meer - 04-18-2012 lol @ day1 ranked hecarim The fuck yeah! Thread - Ashe - 04-19-2012 I love how Veigar is trying to blame every other lane for the loss. He has two more deaths than the rest of the team, meaning he died at least twice without a team fight being around. Also, I would personally consider Malz a fair choice against Veigar given how much the aids harassment would hurt him while you safely hide out of range, making him coming into dot bounce range to farm his Q a tough spot to be in. I won't call him a counter, but I definitely favor him in that matchup, especially when he has to farm up, and you just start strong. The fuck yeah! Thread - Mal Nova - 04-19-2012 BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Lol... I think me and alex just had the longest game in history.... and Won ;D Its all that late game Yi mane.... His kGive no shits tower taking skills... JUST rock...! Fuck kills Take towers every day... IT WAS SO BAD ASSED! Alex got wore out XD The fuck yeah! Thread - Jarka - 04-20-2012 Teemo bugfixes have made him pretty viable, compared to where he was before. I still get focused down, but that's because otherwise I'm doing tons of damage. :3 The fuck yeah! Thread - Android 17 - 04-20-2012 Teemo is Riot's primary tool with which to troll its player base. Thread - Anzekay - 04-21-2012 Not that either of you were to know, but he did die twice to just me in mid, including first blood. The fuck yeah! Thread - Trygelan - 04-24-2012 So I'm Udyr laning against Vlad that's named Manbearpigeater. Beating him in lane was such a good feeling. I went 3/1/13, he went 1/3/6. Ahhh fail names are fun. The fuck yeah! Thread - Trygelan - 04-24-2012 AP Lulu > Akali. The fuck yeah! Thread - Jonathan Meer - 04-25-2012 Hell, I'll wager AS Lulu > Akali. |
