Questions - Alexander Trafford - 11-11-2009 My character does not have the ability to form energy attacks with his hands, like balls or beams, yet. Instead he uses his Psychokinesis to make up for this, as well as two regular Desert Eagle hand guns that fire metal slugs, which he turns into the equivelent of energy blasts after they leave the barrell. Now, do these have to count as my Ki Rifle, or, since i brought them inside (which my Player Profile will show when i finally fill it out), can i have the Ki Rifle and the two handguns? I'm going to go ahead and RP finding a rifle and having the two hand guns, since the hand guns only fire metal slugs i don't think they will count as the equivelent of a ki rifle, but if you disagree let me know and i will discard the rifle. Questions - Kaden - 11-12-2009 Since the next round will be starting at, like, 8 pm, I want to make sure that collar-time doesn't have anything to do with round-time. Regardless of when a round starts, the collars still start/reset/whatever at midnight, right? Questions - DA 2009 - 11-12-2009 Xenia Wrote:If someone were to lose a fight, could they not just RP themselves having wounds as fodder? That's fine. You can have both the guns and the rifle. That's cool. The collars will still start and reset at midnight, always. Those who are caught without entering a bunker may still role-play their fight, but at the end of judging, they get dusted. Questions - Kaden - 11-12-2009 Can we get, like, some kind of warning before the next Combat Day? Just, like, an hour heads up or something? Sorry if I sound like I'm just bitching, that's not the intent. Questions - DA 2009 - 11-12-2009 Kaden Wrote:Can we get, like, some kind of warning before the next Combat Day? Just, like, an hour heads up or something? I'm guessing it's because of that gigantic role-play and movement you didn't get to post. Questions - Kaden - 11-12-2009 That's what prompted the question, but it's largely irrelevant to the logic behind it. It would seem... unfortunate for anyone working on a longer post to suddenly lose hours of work because a Combat Day was dropped out of nowhere. It really makes short posts far more worthwhile than longer ones, given the huge amount of risk that becomes involved. I'm in the fortunate position to still be able to use my RolePlay in this fight post. Hahaha... you'd be seeing much different posts if that were not the case. Questions - DA 2009 - 11-12-2009 I see a Combat Day as the equivalent of a saga post in a storyline saga. A saga post can be dropped at any time, meaning somebody could be role-playing one thing, and an event happens, and you have to change your plans. However, based on that logic, I would have no problem giving an hour's time of a heads-up for a Combat Day, because saga runners typically announce when they're about to post. Questions - Kaden - 11-12-2009 Awesome. Much appreciated. Questions - Kaden - 11-14-2009 When talking about the Combat Day, someone mentioned that you said Combat Days would end at midnight two days after they started. Obviously this is counter-intuitive to the straight 48 hours listed in the rules. Is this going to be the case every time or did you just have a schedule conflict for this first Combat Day? Questions - DA 2009 - 11-14-2009 I have a schedule conflict. After the judgments are made, I'll post an announcement for a more clear schedule and a few changes I need to make. Questions - Kaden - 11-14-2009 Beautiful. Can't wait. Questions - Kaden - 11-14-2009 So, as has already happened (and will definitely continue to happen unless there's a massive series of upsets) are the posts in our fights actually required to have fighting or are you just judging them as they are without considering the content in that, specific, regard? EDIT: That made sense, right? This is totally going to be one of those "Answered with action then a late answer posted in the thread" moments, haha. That made perfect sense. Although the idea is generally to have them actually fight, I judge without considering the content in that specific regard. If people don't fight, I have alternatives, as you'll see if you look in your fight thread. Questions - Ashe - 11-14-2009 DA 2009 Wrote:That made perfect sense. If people don't fight, I have alternatives, as you'll see if you look in your fight thread. So to get to specifics, is that a "final ooc warning" thing, or a "final ic warning" thing? I ask to know if that means that essentially for us, the actual content will suddenly matter. As in "alternatives" can only be used once or something. You guys are fine. Questions - Ashe - 11-14-2009 DA 2009 Wrote:No, alternatives can be used over and over. You guys are fine. Awesome, so Damon will just start frothing at the mouth or something in character. Questions - Alexander Trafford - 11-14-2009 Since, in your conclusion thread, i got teleported back inside the Arctic bunker, am i all set for the next four days of Bunker-seeking? Or do i have to visit a separate bunker. Questions - Kaden - 11-14-2009 You can't use the same bunker consecutively. Questions - Mal Nova - 11-14-2009 You werent Sent back to the Bunker Were you? Or did I read wrong? But YES! You cant repeat bunkers.. |
