yay or nay - Bojack - 06-16-2008
Like, he got it from him in person?
yay or nay - Hellfighter 17 - 06-17-2008
I'm not sure if it was his dad or him. He was in a city near here visiting another branch of the store my friends works at. He's into playing guitar, so he kinda treasures it.

I never said I support sell-out bands. I just said I would sell out.
There's a huge difference.

Would you be a gangsta rapper or...?
yay or nay - Bra - 06-17-2008
No.
I'd want to at least be able to respect myself.
So I'd probably start a side project after my main band went like quadruple platinum eight times, and make sure it was all badass. Pretend the original band never happened. Like Blacq Audio should do concerning AFI.

QFT. Bet 'jack didn't see that one coming.
yay or nay - Violet - 06-22-2008
Meh. They ain't too bad. I won't listen to an entire album, but they do have a couple of songs I like. Dunno whether to go yay or nay on this one.
yay or nay - Bojack - 06-23-2008
I haven't really fell in love with them until recently (By The Way), but I always thought they were at least decent. They make beautiful and atmospheric music, I like their musicianship ("sweet" chord changes, minimalistic solos and melodies, funky bass/drum lines), they covered goddamn Robert Johnson. These guys are the real deal.
Frusciante is a god, btw.
EDIT: Their albums are where it's at. Just listening to the radio friendly singles cheapens them quite a bit. For instance: Sir Psycho Sexy, Venice Queen, Warm Tape, I Could Have Lied, Road Trippin', Parallel Universe, etc. Not singles, yet, imo, their bests works.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band. So i guess that would be a YAY!!!
yay or nay - Celipa - 06-23-2008
My favorite songs by the RHCP...
Soul to Squeeze, Can't Stop, By the Way, Otherside, Death of a Martian.
Big yay for the Peppers. One of my top five bands.
