I can't be arsed commenting on your wall of text so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

EDIT: One thing, actually, I'm pretty certain that his shield's damage is flat; not affected by how much damage you do to the actual shield component. It either says up til you pop it or it does full damage.

That's a correction that definitely needs to be made.

Sion's shield damage has NOTHING to do with how much it soaked. Whether he had 100% of it up or 1% of it up when it explodes, it does the full amount.

Sion is just the latest solo queue stomper. People are always going to scream about those and the answer to them is always the same: itemize and communicate.

I think Sion is being misplayed right now. With the insane strength of Atmog's right now, his AD build is a freaking train. Grab Phage -> Atma's -> Frozen and he can 1v1 anyone in the game. He doesn't need to itemize AS or LS or AD so he can build utility at no real cost to his damage output.

I definitely wouldn't call Sion overwhelming, though. He's a one-trick pony most of the time and he does that one trick very, very well. It's still just a trick, though.

MR+Any decent range=you win against AP sion. his cooldowns are huge unless he's invested in them.
He has about the same effective range as Fiddlesticks, IE lower than almost anyone that isn't melee.

Certainly. But he is strong, even in arranged teams I think (provided he is chosen intelligently). I was merely surprised that he could be considered underwhelming at all.

now that I think about it, wtb Sion+Fidd lane

Tournament teams that end up choosing team always suffer the same way. Late game inefficiency and the fact that I said, Sion contributes nothing in a losing fight, where as someone that has high poke and kite say Kassadin can easily turn a losing fight into an advantage or at least break even.

Different champs have different strengths and different weaknesses.

People used to think Leblanc was useless late game, but what have we seen recently in tournament games?

But, whatever. I can agree to disagree. I refuse to agree that he is weak or underwhelming, and that's really the end to this.

Heimerdinger is a pretty bad champ and Dan Dinh is a boss with him. There's a lesson in there somewhere.

Champions - Kaden - 12-12-2011

The lesson was watching TSM go 3-0 against Epik while EG cowered in fear of Regi's LeBlanc.

LEBLANC!

Champions - Mr. Zhu - 12-12-2011

Leblanc still falls off late game, that's not to say she doesn't do anything. Take Pantheon for example, his damage falls off late game, but there's still no problem in him gibbing AD carries in one combo.

Heimerdinger is a GREAT champ so it's no wonder Dan Dinh is a boss with him. There is no lesson, only respect for the best yordle in the League.

So basically, they're both like Sion but with a bit more damage and less inbuilt tankiness and no cool ult that heals your team.

I never understood that, is it because she doesn't have some kind of large AoE nuke? Because all of her ratio's and base damage are crazy high and scale well into late game, she has a silence, and a snare and if you build Deathfire Grasp...

Champions - Anzekay - 12-12-2011

She's stupidly squishy and part of her combo moves her into closer range than most squishy AP would want to go. If you get tanky items on her, she loses that damage output.

She is extremely potent at killing people 1v1, which is why her early game is so incredibly powerful if not shut down.

So the trick to late game Leblanc is to use her to pick off lone champs if you can, or to swoop into a teamfight shortly after it begins and instagib their AD.

Panth is similar but with less damage, less range, is a bit tankier, has some aoe and his jump. He has less CC than her as well.

Sion is much tankier, does less damage than both but a good portion of it is a strong AoE. He also has a very nasty stun and his ult for some great utility. You can also build him AD which gives you some flexibility with him.

It's the same problem AP Sion has. She's a trick. It's a good one, but with any amount of coordination, she gets straight fucked.

Lol nope. She's way better than Sion in the way that she has a lot more killing potential and can almost always get farmed early game. Sion, not so much.

You guys need to stop arguing about which champion you like more for made up scenarios.

Champions - Rafael - 12-12-2011

You guys know nothing. Veigar with 180 minutes of farm would own either of your champs.

Give Viegar another 100 range on his Q and 325 move speed and he would only need 20 minutes of farm.

Woah woah woah there Kaden, all I said is that he's not underwhelming. Nothing more, nothing less!

You need to stop arguing about our made up arguement Wink
